Contact RC tyres

I've been looking at the Contact RC Foam tyres for a 1/10 touring car (FTX banzai @Redback got some amazing speed out of his)  or a Wltoys 144001.

I can only find the 30mm tyres as rears and 26mm fronts.

Would 30mm rear and 26mm fronts work?

Any help is appreciated.

Hello Matey, I found 30mm rubbed on the rear due to the offset (rubbed on the hub carriers) 26mm fitted all around and should do you just fine 🙂
What car is it, maybe you will be alright with 30mm.

Thanks mate👍. I've got a few to try.

Rustler 2wd, 144001, ftx banzai and probably have a go with the Hyper 7.

The rustler will probably need some 1/8 foams.

The 144001 and banzai are going out for testing first. Just trying to work out what tyres are going to work.

I think i still have a set of 4 26mm contact tyres kicking about, guess i could put them on a crawler for drifting lol

What shore are the foams Jack?

@steephill the harder the foams the less they will expand at high rpm, but they still might explode, i run 40shore so far so good.
