AndyBell
Rebuilt my shocks over the last couple of days, when doing the fronts one of the lower shock shaft eyelets must have been cracked as it just came apart when I unscrewed it, popped to Modelsport this morning and got a new set, they let me build it up on the counter so I could take it straight out on the way home. Took it to the BMX park for a little light bashing and writhing 5 mins the same break on the lower shock shaft but on the rear this time.....and guess what, no UK stock anywhere and Modelsport are saying they won’t have any until June. it’s getting silly now, this thing is breaking every time I take it out and I’m not even giving it much stick. Would shock oil weaken plastic, that’s all I can think of that’s been wrong with it really. Also, does anyone have any AA330527 available? thanks. Paul Busby
You need to set the droop screw. It's the one on the lower arm close to the gearbox case.As I understand it, if you don't then the shock will over extend when it rebounds and crack the plastic. Its a cheap part though, order it from StLouis RC on eBay, will take a few weeks but unlikely to get stung by customs due to the low cost. Paul Busby
I actually couldn't find those part numbers on eBay either. There is discussion here about putting 6s shocks on there... More expensive but will probably resolve the issue for good.https://www.arrmaforum.com/threads/new-shocks-on-the-outcast-4s.12261/#post-145881
Ollykamakazi
We’ve given up with the leaky Arrma shocks. Total disaster tbh. Granite and Senton leakv soon after fixing. Now using hot racing shock bodies. And a set of ally shocks I just bought from NY last week. What a difference. Cars are planted and don’t slap the ground so hard when jumping etc. If you know someone in the states then have them order and not pay 20 dollars delivery. Bash, Break, Build, Repeat...

Ollykamakazi
Unfortunately with RC Mart I think they are an American site so still paying 20 bucks delivery on one product. EditJust checked. They don’t have them anyway. Bash, Break, Build, Repeat...

Out of interest, do they do the shock bodies for the 3s Senton or the 6s? I'm looking for a fix for my leaky shocks, tbh they worked fine until I left the truck in the shed for a couple of months and the seals dried up... But a permenant fix would be nice. I use the Typhon 6S on my Granite now which I consider much better - came at a price but was ok with that 1
Ollykamakazi
I’ve just come back from the states with a set of these. Wasn’t sure without seeing them but they are really nicely made. Full ally, progressive springs too!Fitted them to the lads granite last night and hit the park today. Like night and day. Very planted and soaks up uneven ground and softens landings considerably. I have a set to go on the Senton . Good value if you can get round the postage as I did. Bash, Break, Build, Repeat...

Arrma tough eh! I should have spent the extra and just got the Maxx!Well you can pick up 6s front or rear ones for around £30 a set.You can also get chinesium alternatives which would be £30-40 for the whole set.Doesn't take too many breakages before you get to that amount, and if it fixes the issue then that money is worth it. Tug
Just a rod-end? I'd search around for ally versions with the same thread, I've done that myself in the past.
Ollykamakazi
Had the Senton and granite out at the buggie park today. The new shocks ( the ally versions I posted earlier )Fitted to both. WHAT a difference! They’ve changed the ride on both completely. Can highly recommend now. Bash, Break, Build, Repeat...
