  1. Hi all, Anyone upgraded thier shocks on thier Outcast/Kraton 4s? I'm looking to replace the standard shocks as I'm sick of rebuilding them all the time....I've seen someone say they have fitted 6S shocks, are these a straight swap or or are there any modifications needed to make them fit? Also are there any decent aftermarket sets you can get, seen some from China on eBay but can't find any info if they are decent or not. Also Hot Racing seem to have stopped producing the shock bodies for the 4s. Anyways any solutions would be welcome, the cheaper the better! Thanks, Andy.

    Outcast 4s?

Out of curiosity do they go straight on or are there any mods needed, I need to do the same to get rid if the standard shocks.
  3. Hi all, just realised I have a fully charged 4s battery and my only car is out of action. Currently waiting on parts but they won’t be here for a while. just wondering what my options are with regards to discharging the battery safely? My charger does have a discharge option but I’ve been advised against that. Thanks, Andy.
  4. Managed to get it out, just need to replace the screw now though, just hope the knuckle isn’t too damaged. All part of the hobby though! Just need the diff case and the input gear, no one seems to have stock until mid August though.
  5. Yeah, the other side came off fine with a 2mm allen key
  6. Hi, I needed to strip the rear diff on my Outcast but one of the small 2mm allen bolts that hold the driveshaft to the diff has rounded off. Wondered if anyone might have any idea on how to get it off as you have to put a small 2mm allen key down the middle of the driveshaft to get to it. Any ideas or solutions and I would be eternally grateful! Also, from the exploded view it only shows the front diff and the parts, I presume the from and rear diff internals are the same? Thanks, Andy.

    Melt Down

I watched it, and thought why the F is someone so upset about not getting anymore free cars, if anything he should think himself lucky he didn't land himself with a lawsuit. And like someone else rightly pointed out he's not employed by Arrma or HH, they were just using him as for cheap advertising. I was honestly thinking about setting up a YouTube channel to share my RC journey since returning to the hobby.......but I don't think I'll bother now. But online buse from the keyboard warriors is par for the course now-a-days. You just need to learn how to deal with it and not bite.
  8. Was just browsing some of the major RC store sites and noticed none of the Outcasts are listed anymore. Do you think they are now discontinued?
  9. Drighlington, Leeds/Bradford Looking for good spots near me to take the Outcast. Also to happy to meet up with others for a socially distanced bash!
  10. Fitted the adjustable motor mount and centre driveshaft bearing support thing, the wing went on a couple of days ago, smashed the other to bits practising my jumps!
  11. Past: Nikko Hurricane (I think) Traxxas Revo 3.3 Brushed Traxxas Slash Current: WLToys A979 (Trashed, hit it with the Outcast at full pelt) Arrma Outcast 4S FTX Outback 2.0 Currently looking to add more....
  12. Jus reviving this thread, Seems to me from the new guidlines we should be OK to get out an about now so long as social distancing is observed. I've seen folk out doing all sorts of stuff so once my new motor mount, bearings and other bit's and bobs are fitted I'll be all over it!
  13. Hi all, I could have sworn I had seen a post on here about bearing sets for the Arrma outcast 4s, I think it was a link to a company website that supplies them but I can't for the life in me find the post/link anymore. If anyone could point me in the right direction I'd be grateful. Thanks, Andy.
