How good are his stocks, I've been thinking about getting one for my little CP2

Get one 👍 you won't regret it. The best 3d printed products I have seen.

I have on my cp2, I got the carbine kit in the stock and longer barrel. The Bob Pattenden stock is day and night better than the standard stock. I got the cp2 target stock.

Cp2 with Bob pattended target stock.

That looks pretty tidy, with the cost of cartridges skyrocketing I'm trying to get into air rifles as I've got free access to a range. Do you know if he prints everything in PLA or uses a stronger filament?

I'm the chairman of Bexleyheath Shooting club.  We have two sections.  Shotgun and Air.  I shoot in the air section but am hoping to get my shotgun licence and join the shotgun section too.  I use a pair of Walther CP88 competitions.  I'll add some pics when I get home.  In the air section we shoot three disciplines: 22 air rifle.  Practical Pistol.  El Presidenté.  Air Rifle is self explanatory.  Two targets 5 shots on each timed.  Practical Pistol has two courses ranging from 15-30 targets, two shots on each.  El Pres is back to three targets gun holstered in surrender position, turn, draw, two shots on each target.  Reload, two shots on each target.  Gun clear.  I've been El Pres champ the last 2 years running and am currently overall club champ for air section.

I had my first shooting session last night with @SimplyChunk and a few of his friends.

I got a score of 7/300 (2.3% accuracy) on my very first go.

I got a score of 183/300 (61% accuracy) on my second go after a quick coaching session from my boyfriend (and his cousin was also giving me pointers as well).

I had a lot of fun 😄

My First Attempt:

Hi all.

Just found this thread so thought I would post a pic of some of my firearms.

Hi mate, this one accuracy international?

What calibre?

Thinking about getting one very similar in .308 soon.

The stock is yes, it's an AI AICS AT. The action is a Remington 700 that's had a bit of fettling, it's sub MOA (unlike the shooter 🙂). And yes, .308, thou I tend to shoot 7.62mm milsurp.

The stock transformed the rifle, the orignal was a carbon fibre/kevlar composite, but too light for the round imo. The heavier stock soaks up the recoil and makes it a pleasure to shoot.

Ok cheers.

I am thinking about getting an AI - AT, in .308 with a very similar looking stock to that.

It's a lot of money though, and I am honestly trying to see if I can justify it in my head. The gun itself is about £3.5k I shoud be able to get a deal on a new one, but by the time you've added a scope, got the reloading dies, brass cases, heads etc, and bought some factory ammo to start off with, you are heading towards £5k......it will be at least £4k

I could buy a motorcycle for that.

Plus I am a little worried about this "per gun" tax thing they are talking about, I know they are putting the licence application fee up to like £200, but really that is a drop in the ocean overall, but I heard roumers about this per gun tax of the like £300 per year, per gun. Well thats going to cost me a couple of a grand a year, plus range fees thats really starting to add up.
