Posted May 30, 2018 Share Posted May 30, 2018 I only sent in my R10 because it was secondhand and it really did need a good service according to Phil, I won’t be sending my Compatto in till after the 2 year warranty runs out and then it can get a service and tune, im not sure what can be done tho because it’s already got a excellent regular (Huma) but I know he does tune the trigger, hammer spring etc..... I’m thinking about sending it in as it’s a keeper & I figured it’s best to have an expert give it the once over being weihrauchs QQ seems to have gone to pot. supersavage Posted May 30, 2018 Share Posted May 30, 2018 He tends to use JSB heavys as he set's the rifle up so that it gets the most ft lbs with any weight pellet without going over the limit. supersavage Posted May 30, 2018 Share Posted May 30, 2018 Basically I think he tries to set it so it doesn't produce any more than high 11.5ftlb/11.6ftlbs using some of the heavier pellets but still having a safety margin, as well as getting the ft lbs consistent with any weight pellet that's used.
