RC Trains running through the whole house again. And with some new extensions going into the kitchen, my office, the bedroom and most important next to my TV chair. After I created 3 custom trains (Rail Zeppelin, TEE, Big Boy) and 1 recreation (Swiss Crocodile) with motor over the summer the total number of rolling stock increased to 10. They move slowly from the storage to the track once the AAA batteries are charged. And the most important: German BR103 with 2 (!) motors able to transport a full bottle of beer from the kitchen right next to my TV chair. ( Carriage will be improved this winter to hold either 1 bottle or 2 cans and will include a holder for the bottle opener ) Next plan would be to add a camera wagon to the beer train, so I know when to stop in the kitchen and can order the beer via the built in microphone. Just checked the plot on Wikipedia. Looks like quite an interesting movie. But I am far from genius... For me I just like to indulge in activities in which no computer is involved. After sitting in front of it coding 10 hours a day, I need a balance: RC Cars, Lego Trains, Photo, Video and of course some heavy metal to blast my brain free from all the nonsense meetings. And lucky for me, all these are father/son activities.
Jens
😀😀😀😀 The improved beer wagon is finished. Designed by daddy built by kiddo tonight. Now I can have my beer delivered to my TV chair in style. 😈 Weekday non-alcoholic configuration: Weekend alcoholic configuration: ( surely posting no alcoholic drinks here 😇 ) Free for all instructions attached (no commerce please) Beer Wagon.pdf 2

One of the few Lego sets that are still real fun and playable. Next will be the motor upgrade? It is pretty high on my wishlist, but unlike yours, my wife opposes to any more Lego in the house... oodboo
Already got the motor, just hadn't fitted it. She wanted to try without first. Goes well with the motor, just move the brake out the way and it keeps going round and round.
Popular Post Fuzzock
Hi, my name is Ian and I am a Lego nut.... (A small part of my collection) My collection is mostly Technic consisting of Lego release and MOC's from places like rebrickable. My last purchase was the Lambo which hasn't really caught my heart to be honest (Still a nice model though). When I stop spending money on RC's the 6×6 Volvo Articulated Hauler (42114) is next on my shopping list I think as H1 2021 has not really peaked my attention yet. Fuzzock
I took a most of it apart at the end of the summer to recycle the display models (And make space for my RC kit which was in storage). However here is what is on display: My Technic storage: A small one for when I need a break: I am going to bring out my 1/8th F1 models over winter I think. I have the 8461 Williams, and the 8458 Silver Champion (Only missing the Ferrari for the set but damn that is expensive now) In terms of dusty Lego I use washing machine bags on a cool wash to clean non stickered bricks a treat. (Also another reason why I cycle my Lego around - That and UV protection) Ian...

It is not really playable for my son and I am not a fan of "looks nice in the shelf Lego". 🙂 My eyes are on the new Swiss Crocodile train. If I can get it somewhere without paying a high collectors price. It would be a nice mate for my other Swiss Crocodile.

I have been looking at the trains for my kids. i was hoping to get a huge amount secondhand but the prices are just silly as in buying new would cost less. Lego trains are very popular on the 2nd hand market as it is a niche area within the Lego brand. I wasn't planning on getting Ecto-1 however I am debating it in the new year. Especially after the disappointment of the future McLaren Senna. Lets hope the Ferrari is better! Ian...

Jens
🤣. Nice model. Will surely become a collectors item, since Le(E)go probably retired the model. But I must point out the wrong color in steps 1-3. Yellow should be updated to light grey now. 😜

Jens
Very nice table setup. Could be like mine. 😇 Startrek, Lego, RC car, camera (incl Peak Design strap) & eCig. ( Got off Coke though some years ago ) Now I know I am not alone in the universe anymore. 🖖

Couldn't resist putting the wheels on to have a play. Not bad flex to be fair.
