I use a dremel with a diamond coated cutting blade, I have my vacuum cleaner set up so the hose is by where I’m cutting, I wear a mask and goggles too, it actually cuts very easily, just take your time and don’t force the blade, though this is thin, I went through a few blades cutting the 3mm sheet I had.

Been out and about with the TT02 - I’m just glad the electrics I picked have been fairly swamp proof so far.
 

I do really need something with a) a chassis cover b) ground clearance c) just some (any!) steering lock!

 

I’m not quite sure how I beached it mind you, would you believe no amount of throttle was going to shift it 🤠

 

 

Please look away if your of a shelf queen disposition.... Quite happy with the £6.99 rinse tray from the garden centre however! It’s currently drying out and stinks of GT85, strip down tomorrow beckons....

Worked out I could use my scale gearbox out of my scx10ii chassis in my new one I got last week. Will need a bit of modding to get it in right. But I think I can do it.

Swapped the short arms for long ones on the "Kratock"

Long left, short right - mid swap..

 

 

And fitted Big Rock wheels as my Granite has a hole in a tyre so needs the Granite wheels this had.

Fitted the RPM front and rear skid plates

I swapped the front and rear diffs on my K989 drift car. The front diff wasn’t meshing correctly, it was like limited slip in a way. After I had swapped them the drift performance of the car was far improved. 
 

I also made a video of my practice run.

 

Okay I confess it was yesterday, but that’s okay right? 🙄

It's had some mods already done... I've got a 1/24 D90 die cast body coming for it... 😆👌... Should be fun until it breaks and I have 4 thousand tiny screws to take out then promptly lose

Interesting the blue rubber band mod on the rear. Is that to try and straighten out the toe in on the rear wheels?

 

I tried exactly the same thing on mine, wish there was a better way.
