I very much get where you're coming from.
Best suggestion personally, change of tapestry, getting outside of the "MSUK bubble". Helped me a lot, my RCs had more use in the last 3 months that they had in the two years prior (as well as getting new ones, including boats). Much more fun doing things as a group.

I appreciate this means nothing to most of you. But I work for myself, and sub contract to larger companies. I did a job a few weeks ago with a guy. Job went fine, I invoiced as normal. Was working with the same guy today, he met me and proceeded to give me a bunch of £20 notes. Confused I asked huh? He said there was a lot of scrap from that last job we did and that was my cut? What a nice guy! He didnt have to do that! Id have never known!

Mrs has gone to Wembley for the Play Off Final, I wanted to take an RC out but No Mow May has really limited bash spots even for the big X Maxx! Chill day it is then!

Hmm, sounds like i need to get one and give it some back to back “testing” i agree that its better specked as a stock truck although 2 speed is pretty pointless in this scale, but hey thats just my opinion, to be honest i very rarely use the 2 speed on my big trx4.
whats the aftermarket and spares market like?? I know they are new but is stuffs starting to come through yet??

Yeah, was a bit confused about the two speed too. Specs do read well, but that one i can't wrap my head around. Maybe to get faster from the kitchen table to the hall? You can't really take them on an actual trail, i just don't really get that part.
They do look cool mind, and i'm sure i'll be seeing one soon at the RC club (got a mini-crawler track there). Curious.

@Gaz!I already have new 1.0 alloy beadlock wheels, super sticky swamper tyres, Brass Portal covers, Brass wheels hex`s and full set of brass links, i had to stop at that (for now!) i wont be using mine indoors so yes they go outside

I now want all the Tamiya's of cars in this game. Ive got most of the Rally Cars, so just want a Toms Supra and a few Skylines 😬

Must be getting old but Ive come to the conclusion I dont really use most of my RCs, and if I do use them, I use the X Maxx, the XRT or the TRX4. The rest are just “there”. My Mrs has a Maxx, Sledge and a Rustler and thats more than enough RCs for use. Im really enjoying buying the Tamiya’s I wanted from the 90s, so could raise a fair bit of cash to maybe buy some shelfers

Same here, sold up everything bar the X-Maxx and TRX4, although did get a drifter now for funsies (and the social aspect of a local RC club, they do crawling too).
Found myself in exactly the same position, always grabbing the X-Maxx over everything else, for crawling the TRX4 - might as well get rid of everything else.

I almost sold up everything for the same reasons it’s just dead money sat on a shelf gathering dust. I ended up keeping my x Maxx and exb outcast 8s the rest all went. I think the trouble is once you get a x Maxx it’s the kinda the most versatile rc out there so it’s the one you grab first. I really don’t see the point in having others say there even the exb is now on the short list as I’ve not used it a year

Im hearing mumblings that Traxxas are starting some law suits again 🙄 against some small time Hop Up manufacturers. However, more interestingly I noticed Jennys RCs link in the law suit……

Out of curiosity, are alloy beadlocks supposed to be the worlds most complicated and stressfull thing to build in the entirity of man kind?

Hmmm, might be completely off the mark here but, if its the trx4m then chances are you wont get the tyres to fit correctly, the stock canyon tyres have quite a large bead making it almost impossible to get the tyre correctly seated onto the rim. I ended up have to buy the Traxxas beadlocks to work with the Traxxas bf Goodrich tyres.
the bead on Axial scx24 tyres is much smaller which will work with the Injora beadlocks.
