It does amaze me how little attention people pay to the world around them. Slippy roads....slow down, brake gently and early, give yourself more room to react and give yourself more time so you drive to the conditions not a deadline. It's not hard. I know what you mean about cleaning the damn windows before setting off. Doesn't take a minute....but it's a minute more than a lot of drivers bother with. I'm on a bike...so I get a proper faceful when some idiot in a soft-roader dumps a roof-load. You see them with a carved out vision slit to the front, safe in the knowledge that they have airbags, safety cell and protected no claims..... Then there are the numpties that clear their windscreens with buckets of water.....and then wonder why the road outside their house has turned into an ice rink. What...water freezes...who knew.... What scares me though, is the fact that things are liable to get worse. My oldest boy is learning to drive....and they no longer teach how to use engine braking to slow. No going down through the gears. Nope...drive up brake...stop....in neutral. So when the roads are bad, they know no better and go sailing across the junction when the lights go red. Then you get the 4WD brigade....not, I hasten to add, the Defender owner with snorkel and such. Nope. I mean the URBAN 4WD owner. Take your Range Rover, slap on wide rims with tyres like rubber bands, black out windows and bitchin' stereo Bruv.... Zero grip from their silly tyres and several tons of car heading for the ditch on the first bend even if they CAN figure out how to select 4WD. Them and their low rent cuzzins in the Chav-4's or the lobotmised X5 drivers. I love the BMW X3/X5 softroaders. Free lobotomy with every purchase. Nearly got wiped out by one a few weeks back when he changed lanes into me. I pulled alongside to 'state my case', and his reply : " My mirror was covered in rain so I couldn't see you" When I suggested that 'he should NOT DRIVE WHERE HE COULDN'T SEE if he had the wit of a house sparrow' seemed to genuinely surprise him. Sad to say, courtesy and common sense are a rare commodity.1 point

I watched the one you posted on here yeah. I personally prefer the BZM out of any pipe I've used. I'm yet to use a Bartolone side pipe though, but I've used all the others and BZM is my personal favourite, now I'm using this new oil, I really like how mine accelerates and just runs like a train.1 point

Also, AsiaTees were good to their word with the "100% warranty" and replaced the broken bellcrank with absolutely no fuss whatsoever. Really rather pleased with them, and I'll definately shop there again.1 point

4mm ball joint , these are used on the Colt 1/16th buggy and the rc18t - losi mini's etc etc 4mm ball joint is the standard norm 1.5mm or more usually a 2mm-3mm threadded rod. because they are maybe hard to find they are a standard size end ie 4mm ball and a matching cup. if you find the cup section is long, you can CUT them down to a shorter stubby cup rod end. just be sure to leave enough for the thread to grip and bite in enough for a good joint fix the metal tie rod itself is long, you can carefully use a dremal cutter or a sawblade and chop a small section off each end to shorten the tie rod, not ideal but works with us Modders1 point

To be honest, your wraith deserves it. Why would you stand to have any parts on it that are not the absolute best? In fact, I insist that you get onto RPPHobby right now and order 2 sets!1 point

Yeah i didn't like the ride height on stock springs either hence me trying new options. Softer rears will also improve rear traction. I have even had stock (new version) rears on the front with some success too. I'm currently building a chart of spring stiffness order but have no data on the carisma range and I can't order any to my location for a reasonable price Simple improvement is less droop. I'm just waiting till friday for some more track time Have a look at the hudy/xray offroad setup guide, very helpful1 point

The above works just fine. If you decide to sand the carbon be sure to use face mask. Carbon dust is something you don't want to inhale.1 point

Can you post us a picture of the offending part area. its possible if it is a ball joint and slip over ring cup , one or the other is worn. usually the plastic rod end gets worn and loose over time, when put on and off and used. you may find replacing the link rod and ends / balls can solve this popping off problem. you could try a de-greaser, but it can eat on plastic and cause even more problems so replacement is usually a fix. i do know the savage likes to throw those plastic steering tie rods off to. so its possible the throttle and reverse links are wearing out , thats what take me to aboves thoughts1 point

Most people run 2000 or 3000 cst oil.in diff at my club. As for shock oil anything from 300cst to 550cst is generally used on carpet1 point

I like that, but how much to replace that bodyshell? Two hundred notes? It doesn't bear thinking about! A brushless version would be fun, but the on road only factor would soon get tiresome. Unless you were to fit hostiles and make it a rally car? It must have enough clearance to run on grass, surely? That's where this concept should be heading! I've got it! Spikey Hostile tyres and a "Dukes of Hazard" lid! Yeeeer haaah!1 point

Finished my Tamiya TL-01. Sadly the previous owner of the body shell didn't apply the decals very well so I'm on the lookout for a new set.1 point
