  5. It'll never happen. Would be impossible to enforce, already half a million air guns so how can they make every owner apply for a licence ?? I was one of the many who had to hand in our hand guns when they were banned, cost the goverment millions in compensation payments. No it isnt, Its the moron pulling the trigger thats the problem not the gun

  8. You should try some day a sensored brushless motor. Don't bother with sensorless. You may never touch a brushed motor after that.

  13. have you tried flips and roll-overs. how many have you caught and how many hit the deck. stick the hubsan into extreme mode then try some indoor flips and fliprolls. if your flipping and rollflipping with out your own input try doing them manually grab a cheapy spy cam hook it up and do some video flying like me. its cool seeing the area where your flying from a different perspective of view

  16. Hi, I can imagine how your head hurts, i'm also a newb, Settled on a firestorm flux. It is sweet, strong and easy to learn. I have tried to break it no luck I'd recommend one for first car. parts and info all easy to get. Great support too. Hpi's site and parts listing are great too. No need for upgrades except maybe T-bone racing wheelie bar and front bumper for extra protection once you use lipo's. It really is that fast! Once you decide then you can learn about the joys of Lipo's. Zubz

  18. Guys, I have just bought a couple of brushless carnages and am a little worried that they may be a bit quick for more son. I have noticed that on the speed controllers card it is possible to switch from 'Brushless & Sensor' or 'Sensor Only'. Does this mean that I could fit a brushed motor? RichardS

  19. I seriously doubt they are having drivetrain problems, BP diffs can cope with brushless just fine and I doubt this engine will kick out more torque than a decent brushless setup. HPI themselves only made this latest announcement a couple of days ago, with the latest picture of the prototype. Think about it logically, why would they announce it only a few days ago if they are 'having problems' and are 'about to scrap the idea'? The 'reseller' you have been talking to is just spouting old rumors, nothing more.

  21. Your showing outstanding patients with this car Les! I think my head would of popped off by now with all the complications..... What part are you waiting for for the savage? When you say its the underhead do you mean the plate the glow plug screws into?? I got my back plate for the rotor start yesterday so gonna fit that and see if I can get my savage fired up. Might have to swap a couple of servos around but wanna see if I can get the engine started before I spend more money on it. It's a 25 as well so actually has a smaller engine then the trophy but for some reason it has a wheel bar on the back......

  24. Bank of cash you say? I'd be looking to have my own designed, Though the Hyper ST Pro comes very close to being the Perfect Basher Truggy. Only things I'd change on it's design would be to convert it from captured hingepin to nut and bolt for the extra Structural integrity (already done on mine) And upgrade all the plastics from very good Hobao quality to outstanding Xray quality, formulated for maximum durability...

  26. Hard question, Probably unanswerable. Perhaps one of these? As an all rounder, money no object RC.... I'd probably say an Xray XB9. Xray easily have the best quality plastics out there, so very bashable, and quite up to date as a racing platform. Though really you don't want to be bashing your race platform, as it would be adding unneccesary wear and slop to your suspension components while bashing which wouldn't help at all on the racing side. Really you would want to have a dedicated racer, and a dedicated basher

  37. Thanks for the replies. I really liked the Bullet for what it was. I was one of the ""Guinea Pigs" on here to buy them when the first came out, on 3S it was a blast but wasnt really that strong, but for a Rally Car that may not be an issue! Ill check out the video, thanks
