  1. No worries. It's actually the ESC I'm after. Mine just literally went up in a ball of flames.
  2. Hi. What LiPo packs have you got? Can you post some shots of the other bits and pieces, truggy with the shell off etc, please? Cheers.
  3. Hot Bodies D8 Hara buggy. Take a peek at the eBay listing, I can work a deal so drop me a line. Sorry, can't get the link to work so I'm stuck with providing the eBay item number: 151186999008 Cheers.
  4. Taking advantage of someone's naivety isn't ok. They've got every right to complain, regardless of any bad decision.
  5. The upper hing pins for the front and rear diff housings can be sorted properly by purchasing the sway bar kit. It comes with nifty little plastic mouldings designed to screw into the diff case and secure each pin. Having the kit isn't a bad idea anyway. You can see them just behind the eliptical parts of the bumper assembly: If they're the pins you're on about.....
  6. It is electric, with a full mechanical brake set-up from the nitro kit. A little more flexible than motor brakes, affords you adjustable front/rear bias etc. I've set the controller to full race mode, no reverse, motor brakes disabled. Mixed the throttle into the radio's auxilliary channel and it actuates the brake servo. I managed to get it set up nicely and works very well. Also, there's the Tekno Traktiondrive system fitted which is basically a nitro clutch, smooths the delivery a little more. Not sure it's essential. That motor is actually Truggy specific, it's the larger can Tekin and rated for 6s LiPo (my main reason for using it). Gearing depends on where/when etc. With a 6s pack it's pretty quick. It can handle being geared up quite a chunk, ESC's very decent and the motor obviously likes sucking up power as it's a low kv rating. I built everything with racing in mind (well, sort of), thought I'd give all the gizmos a try.
  7. Yes mate, it's a specific fit for the V4, fits like a glove so fairly narrow,
  8. All you need. http://shop.alza-racing.com/parts/23-savage-bulkhead-brace-conversion-kit.html
  9. Sorted now. Thanks for the offers.
  10. Nice servo required. Please, nothing shabby. Appearances are just as important to me as pure performance. Ace / XP DS1015 Savox 1256 or 1258 Hitec 7955TG Something of similar spec to those listed above are what I'm looking for. Must operate well using 6v. Cheers Matt
  11. Dirty? You mean the truggy should actually be used?
  12. Finally, after far too much expense...... Hot Bodies / Tekno RC D8Te. Full Tekno RC conversion with heaps of other upgrades. Lunsford titanium, King Headz, Upgrade Vortex wing etc.....Thanks to JayJ for allowing me to buy this beautiful chassis, it's a class piece of kit. Tekno RC Traktion Drive with mechanical brakes. Not sure how it'll perform. No doubt it'll prove to be an asset on the track rather than just playing. Viper RC VTX8 ESC. Lovely kit, really is. I'm whacking one in my Hara too, can't resist. I reckon this thing will provide some real competition for Tekin regarding top-end racing controllers. Build quality is excellent and the adjustments available far exceed any bashing needs by a considerable margin. Nifty program box came with it too. Tekin 1550kv truggy motor, rated for 6s use. Savox 1256TG steering and 1258TG braking servos. All set up for 6s LiPo, hopefully it'll perform as good as it looks. Beautifully understated and ridiculously sparkly shell sprayed by Jon Miller of RCS. Sanwa M12 radio makes it go and steer. Pictures provided by my friend, Ian Fakenbridge (Eyeayen). Cheers mate, appreciate the time and help.
  13. No mistakes on mine. What can I say? Perhaps he just doesn't like you?
  14. Jon Miller, he runs RCS Graphic Worx. He's a different league of painter compared to the El Cheapo option. http://www.rcsgraphicworx.co.uk/index.php
