Ziggy122
yeah lol, my car actually has quite a bit of power for its size. The engine only has 3 cylinders as well lolz. However, it does has 12 valves which is 4 per cylinder (which is good) Im quite pleased with fuel efficiency as well. I get about 45 mpg which is pleasing. Like the New Pugeots 107's Citroens C1's And the other 1 like them.... except they are modern engines and beat my punto 3 cyclinders - 12v and 70bhp! And cost im pretty sure less to insure as well Me 4 cyclinders - 8 valves - 60 But mines Italian u cant beat that Ziggy
pieman5
lol, only 8 valves the only thing i dont like about my car is the sound system, its dreadful. Really old tape player and really small speakers with no bass at all basically (allthough i do have 6 speakers its still bad) Thinking of getting a cd player, that might help with the sound a bit lol. It's extremely small... insurance on a provisional license was only Edited November 12, 2008 by bb2120
rossrs
if you want to do that to your frinds you have problems lol just joking, its unlikely i will ever do it as it would be a total waste of money since im sure you couldn't make it road legal? put 'zcars mini' in google, they do bike engined minis . should be loads on youtube. get aprilia rs125! cars slowwww, and expensive to insure . i'm 21 and can insure 180mph bikes for
Ziggy122
8 valves or not My Engine is a "Safe" engine Unlike most 16v engines, when the cambelt snaps, the pistons will still keep moving with the valves and bend and smash into each other.... Basically a nice HUGE engine repair bill Me Cam belt snaps The pistons dont come anywhere near my valves So with a new belt and timing im alot better off That shouldnt happen as i did have a new cam-belt at about 70k/71k and i'm about 72k atm Ziggy
rossrs
those bubble shaped micras have cam chains, super reliable and cheap! and only girls would steal it
Matt B
I want to get something like a Fiesta MK4 1.25, or a Peugeot 306 1.4. I can't really get why the 1.25 is a group 5 and the 306 is a group 4 though. I'll still be paying

stupar
My first car was a Renault 11 1.4 GTL. Spent more time in the garage than on the road but I loved it, quirky little car. Suffered brake failure on the motorway once though! (scary stuff) My follow up car to that was a Rover 214 SLI Twin Cam 16V (pocket rocket) loved the car and still miss it. It was a Saxo VTR muncher and could even out pace my old man's Cavalier 2.0i. Since then I haven't owned a car due to buying property however I have rented A Mini Cooper, Cooper S, BMW 318 d, BMW 320 d (awesome car) and Vectra CDTI which is now on my to buy list. Ziggy122
Just because the group number is higher doesn't mean its more expensive.... My punto's a group 4 and is cheaper to insure then my brother clio, or corsa etc that are group 3's Dont ask me how that works out but there we go I wonder why the wont touch me on my dads group 18 merc? hehe Ziggy
geo-hovis
Your first car has to be crap, but then as its your first car its super cool!! I've got an 899cc Fiat Cinquecento. Its not fast, not "cool" but I love it! The tappets aren't working so it makes the most horrific noise and everyone knows when I'm around! Everyone that gets in my car always come out with a smile on their faces because it is like an adventeur, you never know if you are going to be late, on time, early, or even at all! Its well fun! I'm not going to get rid of it. When I go to uni it is going to be stored in the shed and I am going to race it when I come back! Then I'm either going to turbo, supercharger it or maybe put a motor bike engine in it, because it'l be funny!! And go faster stripes don't work
ebonic
my very first car was a Burlington Dart replica with a bike engine. non road leagl though. first propper car was a Mini 998 very heavily modded and it cost me
midi-mania
i guess a kit car would be way out of posibility? as i was thinking, what if you got a cheep caterham replica (normally a 2.0l pinto engine) and put a small engine in it untill you got several years no claims, that would be fun edit: you say go faster stripes dont work, but have you tried speed holes?
