Ok now theres a bit of a development. I have managed to set the esc up but... The throttle is controlled via the steering stick and i have no steering but the throttle is spot on apart from the little problem. EDIT. I am using a hitec ranger 2 n rx and tx and hitec is not on the list of compatable recievers. Could this be why?

Still no luck guys, i have plugged them in the way you guys said and i have throttle on the steering stick on transmitter but no steering :s tried switching chanels over on rx to see if they would switch roles but then i have nothing and the esc bleeps at me.

yeah its a tamiya esc, and ill give that a go cheers guys

hey guys need a little help with my girlfriends brothers tamiya mini m-03 esc, ive tried to set it and get it to work but no luck ( im used to petrol and nitro). ok so finished the build last night and started to connect everything but had no luck so heres some pics to show you all what wires i have and i need to know where to put them lol. now when i plugged it up ceartian ways and switched it on the led flashed consantly and the esc beeps at me constantly and the wheels twitch fowards and i have no steering i eventually got it to work but the throttle was the steering on the transmitter and i had no steering thanks in advance Steve

Hey guys haven't been on here for a while now since I sold up my rcgear but the girlfriends brother has just got a tamiya mini cooper kit for his birthday which he wants me to build for him so thought it was time to show my face again. Hoping to get back into rc once I have found myself a job and can afford to run one again. Lots of new members here since I last signed on hopefully a few of the older faces remember me lol. I shall upload some photos and videos once I have completed the build. Thanks Steve
