Right i killed my BL motor yesterday. i need a new one and i have a few questions.
BL motor size has an effect on its amp draw and the torque it can deliver. im no expert but this is the way i see things.
AFAIK
A 540 BL motor has a can legnth of 50mm and a diameter of 36mm ? and a shaft size on 3mm, (less torque more revs higher amp draw but less weight ????)
An Large can motor such as my 3400L that ive just broken has a can legnth of 60mm and a shaft size of 5mm, ( less revs, lower amp draw more torque more weight ???)
if im wrong and a 540 motor has a 40mm can legnth, i have obviously fitted a very large motor and its probs why i keep killing diffs.
what im really looking for any my golden question is, if i go smaller such as a 4000kv 50mm can is this the same size as a 540 motor or is it bigger and will i still be benefitting from the all important extra torque, ?????
