your weakest part?

thought this could be interesting.

simply put what car it is, and say what you find are the 2 weakest parts (i'm expecting some people to disagree like aways so see if you can prove me wrong)

its just to see what people generaly break/bend and this will be down to driving style and all that stuff.

Savage: diffs and roll bar

Hyper: stock stearing servo and the hinge pins

Too much power does it

.18 on 25% killed it for me

My OS 18 on 20% was like the limit - even at that it still did wear out quiet fast

and to pauls about hyper .21 engines

i've seen about 3 cases of it (not inc me)

Just cant remember where

Definately my left knee, ive just had 4 ligaments replaced 3 weeks ago, 3 with nylon ligaments and one with a real donor ligament from a dead dude. So im stuck in crutches for a while anyways :(

Rush Evo: Diff - Front Ball Cups coming off at the sight of a pebble.

Hyper 7 .28: Steering Servo - Hard to think of a second, aint broke a second item with it yet.

Ultima RB: Pullstart - Engine would never idle consistently - Suspension was dire - Fuel tank throthing the fuel up due to no rubber mounts - Shell was difficult to put on, would often stall before i got it on. Basically a pile of scrap, i would try sell some of the parts if it wasn't all worthless.

Edit: Sold the Ultima RB, quite ironic.

Rush evo, most things especially when standard parts, but mainly the crap diff.

Havoc, the servo saver is crap and did away with it, front shock shafts can snap if landing from a great height nose down like i found out.

hyper front shock mount easy to bend

pins are easy to snap :whistling:

clips are easy to come off when bashing

dno about servo swaped mine before i got it started

oh and the diff cases snap easy... due to the shock mount :boredlook:

good other than that (to be honest it was a big upside down flip and drive into kerb on tarmac)

Hyper 7 .28...

Apart from being a bugger to tune (done now) the weakest part (apart from me) seems to be the exhaust, as I've managed to rip it. Dont ask how, think i caught it on a brick or summat as it was cartwheeling down the lane.

Servo not bust yet...waiting for that next!
