  1. is gonna fine tune the Nitro Rush later, then it's to work on the Revo, thats if the engine turns up..

  2. Optifuel RTR and HPI fuel are exactly the same blend,it's made by Optifuel for HPI,they say it's based on Optifuel and thats who they worked with but thats BS,another money maker for both parties,HPI get their own fuel and Optifuel get a percentage for making it and allowing HPI to lob their own label on the bottle,I guess they must have lost confidence in the others they used,I know HPI did recommend Toranado at one point when they were in the wilderness. The reason it smokes so badly is because of the oil blend, they use Klotz oil which is a synthetic oil and thus Optifuel has no mineral castor oil content at all which I don't like the idea of,to be honest as long as I get access to Byron or even Modelsports Pro blend of MT,i'll not bother even trying it,I prefer a castor based lubricant to be present as well as a synthetic additive, don't think I could handle all that smoke from Optifuel as well plus it draws even more attention for those who already find reason to complain. The time will come when O'Donnells will be available again, just have to wait and hope, best race and RTR fuel i've used, the others I found very good were Byron Race and Gen 2,Tornado in certain engines (HPI) and Modelsports Pro blend of Model Technics at 25%,all this stemmed from a mini test I did a couple of years ago not long after Gen 2 was released,I had Byron's Gen 2,O'Donnells Race,Modelsports Professional,Tornado Race and Orion Black Demon, all at 25% and all were very similar in the performance stakes, the more refined fuels like O'D's,Byron and Tornado were the ones I found the most effective but the others weren't that far behind in all honesty. Everyone has their favourites and Optifuel has become popular more because of the fact they've cornered the market in the UK,ever since HPI bought out Mirage, thats when it all changed,O'Ds got dropped and HPI brought in their own brand, even Tornado has ceased to be in all the online shops inventories and I haven't seen Black Demon since then when I tried it at 25%,that was a good fuel and very well priced,I used their 16% 2ltr bottles and they were £8ea and dropped on Multibuy,a great fuel I found but O'Donells is my all time personal favourite for sure,I know you get more for your money with Optifuel and MS Professional Model Technics but I don't mind the US gallons,it still lasts me ages and I just buy 2 gallon at a time....
  3. Only one thread per topic, the other one in the MT forum has been deleted, the rules are clear as a bell I suggest you read them, you should know simple rules like this, you've been here long enough dude.... By the way in reference to the above thread, the HPI TX will go with the TTR RX,both are 27Mhz AM I believe and 99.9% of 27Mhz AM gear is compatible as long as the Xtals are the same....
  4. Well you obviously haven't listened to the guys who are making these claims,if you listened you'd have heard that the genetic engineering program called Project Tigress was attempting to genetically alter human children as young as 5 with modified animal DNA and that there are rows upon rows of genetically bred grey's which are part human part alien, these aliens are said to originate from the Pleiades star system around Regulas B.Find the alien interview at S4 aswell, thats the most convincing footage of an alien available, just punch it in Youtube...
  5. It only works out the same as getting it from say JE Spares when they were selling em,they wanted
  6. Food, water a sustainable planet, take your pick,if they're in control of the US goverment like all these folk are claiming then course it can be covered up,claims of Projects,Monarch,Mannequin and Camelot are all actual projects that are top secret, don't forget these claims have been around for 50yrs,thats how long they could have been here, some of the irrational things the US goverment are doing could easily be attributed to this, how often are people saying they can't believe a modern day group of governing humans could do the things they're doing, people linked to these claims are going missing and dying inexplicably all the time and no one seem to find that a bit fishy, why are they removing such documents and claims like the activity in Ireland from the public domain,if it's all BS there would be no need....
  7. If there really are things like this going on then the higher bodies are gonna strive to keep it secret, thats why these guys are claiming they were drugged, under mind control and hypnotised, the black guy Dave M sounded weird but what he was saying he was actually believing and these techniques have been proven to be in use in the intelligence agencies of the worlds governing bodies.I'm no gullable by a long shot but like I said these people are being discredited by the actual goverments they're accusing in ways that are not normal, these allegations are hardly on the level of MP's expenses and the like and are so scary to think about that it's entirely feasable that the goverments accused could keep it quiet for the whole part. If mind control is in use then theres your answer why it's not been mass exposed, some of the guys like the UK Ufologist RW who was found wandering the corridors of the Showboat Hotel in Vegas after the IUFOC 2007 annual meet, are very convincing,he was found wandering with a blank gaze and later it was alleged he'd been abducted by the Military and 6 greys and exposed to an hypnotic and drug induced interrogation, this guy has no mental health issues,is a very well educated man and was studying movements in the Nevada desert around the Area 51 and S4 bases, footage of what seem to be crafts flying into mountain sides at over 6,000mph and just disappearing without a trace,he claims that there are huge 5,000ft deep multilevel complexes all over the area,is it all true who knows but I certainly won't discredit his allegations by calling it a conspirecy theory or he's a nut job. What is certain,he believes what he saw and was exposed to be real....
  8. Why do you say that and how do you actually know it is as to make an ultimate statement like that,it's that kind of closed mindedness that would eventually see the planet destroyed, the goverments of the UK and US are constently letting out hoax after hoax to discredit all and everyone who questions or claims things like this are going on,the guy researching these claims is a reputable professional with no affiliation,he just reports what he finds interesting, usually the people who say stuff like this is crap are the ones who are too scared to think that it may actually be going on.Guess you and Rich will be onthe sidelines should there ever be a rise up of arms by the people against such alledged atrocities....
  9. But is it nonsense, you gotta be open minded otherwise we as a nation will have no defense when and if it comes to light, too many of these guys who don't know each other originally are telling of the same thing in different places which as got to make you think...
  10. Anyone live near Peasmore in Berkshire,if so you have genetically engineered alien entities living near you in a secret underground military base

  11. Hey guys,if you have a spare hour to watch this interview with this guy, you'll find yourself being pretty un-nerved by what he has to say and how convincing his tellings actually are, some may have seen it but just thought i'd bring this to light for those who haven't.I've been going through a lot of vids on Youtube and while most are a load of carp, this guy struck a nerve.I started by looking at a vid of a UK UFO researcher and it went from there, check it out,to be honest it's pretty compelling and scary... http://www.youtube.c.../31/6CJ1YIb0HWQ
  12. R.I.P Alex "The Hurricane" Higgins.. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/top-stories/2010/07/25/snooker-champ-alex-higgins-dead-at-61-115875-22437610/
  13. Anything designed for the Lightning will fit the Trophy, its a rebadged Lightning Sport as is the Truggy version, just a rebadged Lightning Stadium Sport,Good solid buggy the Lightning, they had a lot of fans when they were available with a good spares support,i'm sure it'll be ideal for what you want Graeme and the shell looks ace bud...
  14. The Nosram RS.18 Evo is a good choice and a very potent engine,it's a standard crank though but thats no big issue. The one i've been looking into is Losi's 3.4cc engine out of the Losi Ten,it's a small block .20 engine and is uber powerful, easily enough to change the Firestorm from spot on to absolute crazy but not certain if it would go into the Rush of mine but if it does it'll fit in the Firestorm, the Nosram has a claimed power output of 1.58ps,about 1.5hp and the Losi's 3.4cc is claimed to have 1.8hp and is I think an SH made engine as it's those guys who make the 454 for the XXL and they usually keep it to one mfr for their engines. You'd get the Losi pretty cheap on Ebay for a new one, there's plenty of sellers that break models and sell the parts, not sure if Jenny's RC are doing the 3.4cc or not but I guess someone will be,i'd go for the Nosram personally but then mines a Nitro Rush and either that or a T3.0 would be ideal for mine,if I got the Nosram i'd need engine mounts were as the T3.0 has the same crankcase as the T-15 and no mounts are need as it bolts directly to the chassis with the mounts in the bottom of the crankcase...
  15. Yeah, they've really upped their game over the last year, stock levels are awesome and shipping is first class of late...

yep,the forums back to normal as far as i'm aware.

  17. OK,the Show us you Nitro Rush/Rush Evo threads been pinned,i've added the Firestorm to that aswell seeing as they're a natural evolution of the Rush, hope thats OK Jay,keeps the Firestorm owners happy and the thread will get more exposure and posts added.... I took her out on Thursday for half an hour to tune the new T-15 carb, forgot to add this, anyway it's tuned now and was 100% better,it has a bottom end take off now and absolutely shocked the hell out of me for speed,i'd say it's easily hitting 1/8th buggy speeds flat out,I can still lean it out a bit more yet on both needles but i'm happy with it overall,it handles great too and the Firestorm shocks are very smooth aswell,i've got the stock Rush Evo springs on the rear and wound the adjusting collar pretty far down and it's just about right,i'm still gonna go for the stiffer springs though....
  18. I'd go with the 1mm silver springs for allround use,the 1.1mm springs allow a faster take off but do cause the alloy shoes to wear quicker than the 1mm and 0.9mm springs but not by much...
  19. The AnswerRC high bite, low wear alloy clutch shoes will fit most big blocks and almost any engines that have a 3 shoe setup,if your engine uses a conventional deep drum clutchbell then they're a straight upgrade. The Hong Nor long life red alloy shoes are awesome aswell and also the Dynamite alloy shoes are very good too. I used the AnswerRC shoes in my Havoc and they were very good, they won't fit in my Revo as the Revo's clutchbell isn't deep enough,I have a 3 shoe setup on there and need to get specific shoes to fit the clutchbell,I use the STRC aloy shoes in that and when it's time to upgrade i'm gonna go for the Integy 7075 alloy shoes, they work well too,I had a stock size set for the Savage in my VRX-2 Pro's Go.21 and they lasted ages....
  20. I'll be there more than likely,be a bit earlier this time too.Its always the case I end up sorting everyone elses stuff out and don't get time to do mine so i'll plan ahead to get there earlier,it's only 2-3 minutes away from my house so I don't mind going over there,it is however wearing heavy on my Hostile MX rears on the Baja, the surface is hard packed coal shale so does take a lot off tyres, gonna invest in some ice cutters for them in the near future, that should make em last longer over there.... I've voted all day too by the way,no point having one otherwise as some people have to travel, nothing spoiling if it's all day or not really, people can turn up whenever they please.I'm going to contact my old school buddy again who's head of the council for the area,i'll go visit him instead of emailing, that way i'll get across what we want to do to the area as it's council owned waste land,as soon as I get the go ahead I have access to plant machinery so the track can be made....
  21. These guys are a superb outfit and specialize in FG over all else, they're in Germany but it's in the EU so no import or VAT to pay as it already gets taken care of,the shipping isn't that bad either,3-4 days and the prices are competative,if they don't have it then no one will, probably the best FG spares stock levels and best overall online store in Europe.... http://www.rc-car-online-shop.de/cgi-bin/cosmoshop/lshop.cgi?ls=e
  22. I always make sure I fit a charging flylead then use a touch of superglue to tack the plugs together, only a pinhead amount each side is needed then I just tuck it in the radiobox,I only do that though if theres a chance this could happen, luckily the Revo and Baja are pretty well protected for their RX packs but the Rush and Rush Evo both have theirs tacked with them being at the rear... Damage doesn't look that bad mate,i've had a hell of a lot worse.Start be stripping the whole model down, check the chassis and other alloy parts for bends,if only slight you'll get away with straightening them, the rest are all cheapish to replace, check the shock body for dents that may foul the piston travel and make an inventory of what you need then order, give it a good clean and service while it's off the road and once rebuilt she'll be as good as new....
  23. has watched Universal Soldier Regeneration, pretty good action and JCVD and Lundgren were in it as their old characters.

  24. I've started replacing pullstart cord with polypropylene woven cord that they use for bathroom light switches, last loads longer, you just can't use quite as much as it's a bit thicker.I've decided i'm gonna either repair my RB or get another one from CML,the OS.21TM will be good till I get the moneyto repair or get a new one,i've found a German site that stocks all the spares for the 523 so may just get a piston and liner and 2 new crank bearings,it'll be as good as new then but only a bit less than a new engine from CML so not sure what to do....
