FG MARDER – IMMACULATE- HIGH SPEC Regrettably the time has come to sell my beloved FG Marder. This is no ordinary Marder and I am sure that the new owner will realise this! I have had this car for around two years now and it still put a smile on my face every time I take it out. This has just been totally rebuilt to a very high standard – it is in immaculate condition as I have only ran it twice since the rebuild and this was just on a flat car park, I have had the chassis plate professionally sprayed in high gloss panther black. The engine has been very well looked after and this shows in its performance as it leaves my friends Marder for dust, it is a struggle keeping the front end on the floor – this is the reason for the full alloy front end, it weighs more thus helping to keep it down. Included in this sale is EVERYTHING you will need to go, including: - Spektrum DX2 2.4Ghz radio gear. - A full tool kit - Spares - Oil - Mixing bottle - 2 shells, one of them brand new with windows (£120) - 4 x Cut slicks on multispoke wheels, these have been professionally sprayed in high gloss black. Itll be fine!! im planning on using mine on wet sand mostly, i have all of the gear covers, shock covers, Cv boots for drive shafts and outerwears so its safe for the beach, just take it for a bash let all of the sand dry and blow it out with an air gun. Simples!! Carl

Ive just put a rear ARB and alloy rear shock tower, does the Rear ARB make your handle better? Carl

Have a look at the rovan 5B and 5T, they look very good for the price mate, i considered buying a SQ baja quite some time ago, i ended up going down the marder route, couldnt be happier with it....although i would LOVE a Baja 5T, im planning on getting a Full Sand rail chassis off Tubedigger, it may bed a few months away but i am still getting one Carl

I am thinking of getting a set of theses for my marder with a set of UberRc hub convertors!! I Can't wait for it to snow. Any good bashes going on anytime soon? Carl

Oh hell!! that isnt good!! Maybe a upgrade rear brake then, you can get hydro layshaft brakes can't ya?, im guessing this is alot heavier than the standard chassis so the bigger brakes are needed really? Carl

Done! halfway through a rebuild of not, i would down tools at any point to swap over to this!! It would only be right to use FG>Hpi hub convertors, that way i could use sand paddle tyres!!! Carl

I WANT ONE!!!! LOL How much for you to make one for me? i will use all of my existing components? You do realise that once you have a pattern chassis, you could make an absolute fortune making these and selling them on, id rather have a proper job like this rather than a bolt on kit. Im up for that mate, in the middle of a rebuild at the moment but when its done i would well up for that, im hopefully sending my engine off to oddified to get fiddled!! Whereabouts on olivers mount, the top near the bridge? Carl

Thanks mate, None of the steering geometry or suspention is set up at that point. I am going to get some shockwears for the front shocks, not sure what colour to do it in, silver maybe? Carl
