I believe one of these was raced at a big meeting recently. I assumed it was just a pre-production model, not a free model!

you would be surprised Grogg how tough some  prints can be tbf depends on what materials used of course but ive a few drone parts that have survived hitting walls and the ground at speed lol 🤣

It's 100% material dependent. Some of that ABS  & PETG materials you can buy now are incredibly strong. My only concern would be the chassis considering how thin it is however it seems like it's been reinforced at the sides.

 

I think over the next 10 years we'll see a lot more 3D printed parts within RC as injection moulding is so expensive (setup wise) and having it limitations.

A bit of a shame you have to use effectively a whole front suspension system from another car. Not expensive but it looks like it's already sold out everywhere. Gives me an idea for recreating it though...
