hEX Wideners Losi Night Crawler

Easiest would be to measure the axle diameter (4,5,6 or more mm) and the hex diameter (12,14,17mm).

4x12, 5x12, 6x14, 6x17 are common sizes.

Crawlers often also have 6x12 (like my TRX-4).

Are you able to measure and post a picture?

Not sure if it helps and if that is your model.

Here is a parts list:

http://www.losi.com/ProdInfo/Files/LOSB0104_PartsExplosion.pdf

Based on that, you plan to replace LOSB3525 with a wider one.

If your axle diameter is 5mm then you are in luck.

There are countless ones available at ebay at many different widths.

If you have 6mm axles then you are doomed. Very hard to find.

I went through it myself recently.

But for that I also might have a solution...

Then it should be quite easy to find wider hex hubs.

12mm outer and 5mm inner diameter are very common and you find them in all colors and width at ebay.

But!

There is something I came across recently.

I went from 5mm width to 8mm width.

Suddenly I didn't have enough thread left to tighten the wheel and I kept loosing it.

But then there are those ultra wide hubs. They themselves come with a special screw, so that you can still tighten the wheel.

This is an example of a critical one:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4Pcs-12MM-Wheel-Hex-Hub-for-1-10-RC-Cler-Axial-SCX10-Traxxax-4-Tamiya-MST-R-K2I1/353303691320?epid=18041598134&hash=item52428a8038:g:ZuQAAOSwRkNfyMmr

( You might not have enough thread left to fully tighten the wheel )

And this one is wider and therefore comes with special screw:

That's all I can tell from my experience.

Personally I like a nightcrawler in its natural flesh!..

But with regards the jeep body there are certainly plenty around - Ebay has a load of hard bodies if you wanted to go that route else proline and Axial amongst others offer Lexan options. If you are after the most scale / real looking then go hardbody, but if you want to keep performance via a light(ish) body then go with a lexan option👍

All you need to consider is width and wheelbase of your donor body..
