A J
most i know is that there can be different types of engines such as: a two stroke and a 4 stroke. i like rc cars that are built for drifting and have a JDM car body

A J
i have found a rc that i want to buy. Is it worth the money? this is the link.https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Build-Your-Own-Nitro-Radio-Controlled-Car-Delivery-July-7th-8th/402311224419?hash=item5dab9e1c63:g:Wx4AAOSwAtZe-l9q
Yrkoon
welcome to the forum i see the one you linked to is a nitro engine and a bad one i would deffo avoid it. edit : that whole ebay one smells of scam..... when you mentioned petrol i thought you meant an actual petrol engine which are found on 1/5th scale models such as a hpi baja https://www.hpiracing.com/en/kit/112457 so you are after a decent nitro by the looks of it, do you have a budget in mind? some thing like this is a solid model but not a kit https://www.modelsport.co.uk/hobao-hyper-7-tq2-rtr-buggy-with-mac-28-turbo-engine-2-4ghz-radio-blue/rc-car-products/403864 Edited July 5, 2020 by Yrkoon saving some one money? :)

I've seen many people who have been satisfied with those nitro kits. If you want an off-road buggy version @A J then you might want to consider this https://www.nitrotek.co.uk/catalog/product/view/id/6875

Relativenewbyseb
The issue with the nitrotek kits however is the quality, having had the condor before the engine wasn't particularly reliable or easy to tune, the diffs very much struggled when the engine actually was running which led to decent expenditure with steel gears all round and by that point the engine then wasn't working againHowever I'm sure there are people who do well with them and find them reliable but for myself with it as a first nitro car not knowing how to tune so learning gradually it was not idealSent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk
