The major shareholders of the Scandinavian based Vestergaard Group have signed a deal that will see them utilise their 50+ years expertise and investment in the hobby industry to revitalise HPI Racing, capitalise on its great heritage and push the brand forward. Speaking from Vestergaard Group's Danish HQ, the new owners announced a new era for HPI Racing with a stable supply chain and excellent customer service. “We are looking very much forward to rebuilding the HPI Racing and Maverick brands together with you. StuBevis Posted June 30, 2019 Share Posted June 30, 2019 Although a Kraton is imminent, I'm keen to keep my e-Firestorm running for my boy and wife to use, and simply because it's a fun car that I'd like to keep running, its certainly taken a beating yet keeps going. Mayb just restocking the vorza and savage parts will be a top priority over anything revolutionary or shouting hpi is back moment. I'll expect them to try and bring it back to what it was first. For a revival, HPI need to release reliable off-road bashers, and do it quickly! Preferably something that can handle the average track would be a bonus.
