The Gmade GS02 BOM Thread

Here's a couple of pictures of my BOM.

I imagine you're gonna love or hate my paint job. It will look cool when barrel rolling down hills though ?

Used Gmade plastic beadlock wheels instead of the kit wheels.

Ebay special bumper. Pretty good value at 15 quid.

Hobbywing 1080 ESC, Etronix 35t motor and Kpower 20 kg servo.

Still needs a bit of finishing off, plastic door mirorrs and handles and a few other bits.

One more Bommer here, too.

Bought a kit to have something to build all (long) winter. Proline Hilux cab, not made my mind up with paint scheme yet.

1210 Savöx, 27t motor and 1080 esc. The 27 might be a little bit fast with 3S, but we´ll see in the spring....

Installed ssd stainless lower links, and ebay brass knuckles (both for scx10.2)

Awaiting new gearbox halves that Gmade kindly shipped, to solve gear problems before they appear :)

Really waiting for the spring already!

Here she spins her wheels for the first time:

Have you got a link for the bumper? Prefer the design over the one AJ had on his. Thanks in advance ??

Thanks for the link [emoji1303] how’s it holding up just out of interest. Can’t really go wrong at that price!

Fine. Really good value for money. I have them on a few trucks.

Good to know, thanks again [emoji1303]

What have you done to the rear shocks on your Bom?

I set the rear shocks with the stock oil supplied with the kit.

It feels massively under sprung, even with plenty of preload.

Damping feels nonexistent.

I was thinking of trying some bump stops to limit travel and starting with at least 60wt oil.
