Oh no, dont get me wrong. Im Finnish, not sassy. But english is my third language, so i can express my self a little wrong at times. I have my own lipos stored in a money-box, but i am getting another for charging purposes.

Yes, we all (even the house owner) knows who to blame. No, the battery was not in a bag because nothing ever happened before. And yes, he had been warned several times about charging etc. This was just a reminder that sometimes **** can really hit the fan. Of course not to perfect people, just the rest..

Got my first 1/8 last week, a slightly used VS-e Pro.. Always wanted one, ever since the Turbo Burns was introduced somewhere in the eighties but I´ve never been keen on nitro.. Hw 4274 2250kV motor and Hw 8BL150A V2 Esc. Proline Badlands and kit tyres. Paid 250 euros without the esc (which was on sale for 89 euros)

Lesson learned from their 4:1 GRU, nothing by rc4wd to be purchased ever again!

I havent heard anything good about the orange ones, powerouts and stuff.... Just sourced a unused SR310 (basic 3ch RX wo. stupid AVC functions) for 15 euros, they are cheap on eBay...

I think they sell an extension for that sensor wire, motor leads just make extensions with 4mm bullet connectors..

Finally got the transmission sorted, no problems. Sorted the rear suspension too, sort of. While changing the seals on the shocks i put some #7000 diff oil (!) in the rear ones, and what a difference that made!

Received new skid, and top gearbox halve today. Will install them in the next couple weeks, no hurry since we have about three feet of snow.....

One more Bommer here, too. Bought a kit to have something to build all (long) winter. Proline Hilux cab, not made my mind up with paint scheme yet. 1210 Savöx, 27t motor and 1080 esc. The 27 might be a little bit fast with 3S, but we´ll see in the spring.... Installed ssd stainless lower links, and ebay brass knuckles (both for scx10.2) Awaiting new gearbox halves that Gmade kindly shipped, to solve gear problems before they appear Really waiting for the spring already! New here, found this forum when googling about Gmade Bom. Been in and out in RC from 1987, competed a few years in various classes and so on. Now bitten by the scale bug, scx 10.2 (kit) and Gmade Bom in garage.
