Bearings and a lower turn motor with the suitable gearing. You want to stay with nimh battery I guess

Ive probably painted over 100 shells in my lifetime. My latest Tamiya Ferrari has a run around the black grill. Dont be too harsh on yourself

Tble-02 works with brushed and brushless motors

Ok, i have a couple of those ESCs but never used them. A quick google suggests they have a 25t brushed limit, but can run as low as a 9.5t brushless. As you dont want much more speed and are staying nimh, id go for a 13.5t. Tamiya Club suggests this is a good choice, but ive no experience.

I just run a 3900kv motor and a HW Quicrun 60a ESC in my TT02.

Youll want a bearing set too if you dont already have one.

I run my brushless TT-01 on a 25t spur, 55t pinion, TBLE-02 ESC and 13.5t motor. I haven't clocked it with a GPS as I don't have one small enough, but I would guesstimate a speed upwards of 30mph.

So this de-solv-it how do you use it ?

Spray some in a pot and brush it on.

Leave for 15 - 20 minutes agitating half way.

Mine took around 3 sessions and the last bits were very stubborn, ended up using Auto Glym Tar Remover and Auto Glym Super Resin Polish.

Removing the tints wasn't an easy task but glad I did it. I'llthink twice, three times before tinting windows again.

You can shorten the wheelbase of a TA-02 with flipped TA-01 arms, but the width comes from the extra wide rear wheels.

So it does shorten it enough to allow the 911 gt2 shell to fit? 236mm?

I will be using the 32mm rear wide wheels to get the track.

No probs.

One thing I should mention - you probably know already - if you aren't running turnbuckles you'll need the TA-01 upper arms too. Luckily they come on the same sprue as the lower ones.

Thanks again

I knew they were included but didn't know I needed them.
