If you read it though he had Pioneer 50" TV on the same wall before and that was 4 times the weight of the LG 65" one.

yea so it wasnt fixed very well by the installer same issue, he hasn't taken a pic of the wall tho bet there is a few big holes in it

Thats why i have never fitted any of my TV's to the wall, im just too paranoid of that happening

Modern TV stands let you place the TV right up against the wall anyway so why mess with a plasterboard wall mounting. Speaking of which I have a new TV stand waiting for me to assemble.

All our flat screen tv's are wall mounted using bracket that are made for much heavier tv's and drilled into brick walls, best way to have them especially with younger kids, no chance of them being pulled over or smashed by them......

I think "common sense" are the key words here.....

Indeed i will need to wall mount mine again as my 14 month olds handprints are all over it.

Also worth remembering a lot of insurers wont cover the damage unless its been professionally fitted due to wrong brakets and mounting screws being used a lot
