Velodrome race

I just saw that this has been completed

 

 

Its the perfect size at 250m long and I am trying to see if I can hire it for an RC car velodrome race. I would need to know if anybody would be interested in attending a one off race with either IC or electric onroad cars

 

I would expect we would need around 25-35 people to cover the cost, if we are able to hire it in the first place.

 

If there is sufficient interest I'll chase it up. if you want it to happen I suggest you post on as many websites you can and post a link here so we can capture all the interest

Am I right in thinking that you tried to hire a velodrome before...but that was indoor (wood)?

I've done one of these before - it was fun but it was basically wallet racing back then because the fastest car wins unless you really suck at driving.

Marshalling was a little hairy!

now thats the perfect size track for a RC converted MINI MOTO bike 

 

BMZ 70cc 6 port, 60kg super servo , 2x 60kg brake servos, and a 40kg throttle servo.
