Never realised when I started how addicted I'd be.

All began last Christmas with a shiny RC.

Now, in my man cave my fleet is swelling,

Can't justify to the Mrs we need a bigger dwelling.

The money isn't the issue it's a matter of size.

But I'm sure I'll find more room if I won the prize.

Man i really do love my RC toys 

and my friends say i act like a 10 year old boy

Well im going on 44 years of age

and i dont drive my car with any kind of rage

After every run i give it a really good clean  

and by the time ive finished it looks like a perfect shelfqueen 

I think about RC cars all the time 

if i had loads of money they would all be mine 

Dam if i had this truck it would make my playtime perfect 

come on modelsport let me win this ECX Circuit

In the RC world, modelsport is the place to be.

The online stored is great site to see.

Axial, tamiya, spectrum and HPI

Lots of lovely kits to look at and buy.

 

I love getting new models, the smile i have for all to see.

AS far as the missus knows though i only have  2 or 3.

Boxes, drawers and shelves, all full to the brim.

Lot of lovely parts and tranmitters all set up with trim.

 

As soon as i get time to chill and unwind. 

Retiring to the man cave, to drive and to bind. 

We are all here like big kids to play with radio toys

Men, women, girls and boys.

 

We all love to run abnd build our favourite car

screaming past, swooping corners near and far

Running close buy at the park or even a road trip.

but has anyone still managed to find may 'e' clip

my tc4 has speed and my blitz is better than weed once it smoked and made me choke the esc was fried i cried so me sent it back to modelsport they made me a deal for free they'll give me a new one on to put under the tree.

But I know with my money I will yet again yield

There's no better feeling when my wheels are screeching

And to my two sons how to jump I am teaching

But my bashing always seems to end in sadness

Due to high jumps,the speed and especially the madness!!

Ooops didn't see the one entry per person bit doh!!

I only own one RC car,

the Mad Monkey of course, I've driven it far.

I've upgraded it to the very most,

it's pretty damn fast, I don't like to boast.

A carbon fibre rear shock tower,

and a brushless motor to supply all the power.

But now I think it's starting to get old,

Model Sport was giving away a new car, so I was told.

As I put pen to paper I started to rhyme,

it was the 28th of November, I was running out of time.

Flashbacks started in front of my face,

I was only 13, my very first race.

I noticed my opposition was oh so much bigger,

but as the light turned green, I squeezed hard on the trigger.

As my car shot off like a bullet,

I realised that they had beaten me to it.

At the first corner I felt my tyres give way,

I span out of control, this wasn't my day.

The second corner was worse than the first,

I slammed into the side and began to curse!

By the third corner I was in last place,

the leader had lapped me at such a pace.

Suddenly my car became very still,

my ESC was smoking, this would cost quite a bill!

As I thought to myself "back to the drawing board"

I still had big ambitions of being RC Lord!

I ran back to my car to unplug the deans,

this poem was written by Tim aged 14.

Ill leave you all, wondering why my car looks so crap but leaves yours by half a lap. Off into the distance as it flys around this is my track now. Leaving you outraged, in white lines as I pass the finish line.
