Translated -

With the Desert Fielder Tamiya presents a new truck based on the well known TA-02T chassis. The 1:10 scale truck is held by a cardan all-wheel drive, all-terrain tires and oil pressure shock absorbers. The kit will be available from September 2012.

I'm sorry, but that just looks Sooo toy grade, yuk.

HIDEOUS!

they run alright, and actually look more scale than most of the other sc trucks about. the older ones also looked wway better in person, as they are 1/10 scale sedan sized and are generally proportioned correctly.

Looks very Tamiya :)

The chassis would look better in a less garish colour for me .... but that's personal taste. All Tamiya's seem to look 'plasticky' and almost toylike under the shell, but they have stood the test of time and are still very popular. I think the underlying design work is done well, and the produiction values are typically Japanese.

The thing i don;t get about this one is why the rear diff is a ball diff, and the front is a gear diff....

So it can be tightened with a turn of a screw to alter the amount of drive in a matter of seconds, without having to strip the car down, clean out the diff, repack with thicker grease etc.
