Look at hyper 7 parts against deuce and virus ones, annsmann basically copied the design which is why many parts are intercompatible

Deuce is pretty much a hyper 7. They make alright money as rollers, not a lot for parts as they are dirty cheap in pieces new!

Trouble is you need to keep the car balanced, otherwise it'll make the handling horrid. I find that mine gets covered in crud too easily in that position too, so I am going to try and protect it a bit more.

It would be too big for 1/10, however a smaller version would do the same job!

You have prob still got the plastic hex in your old wheels pop them out and fit them back onto the car

That's why I mentioned everything I run so that it can be taken into account and yes I would imagine the fans will definitely be needed on more cells!

I would imagine they have made them in rather a huge amount, so it'll be a fair while before they sell the faulty ones...and that's even if they bother to sort the problem! I just repaired one today and the circuit board was awful, the trace was falling off at one point! Luckily I can sort that kinda stuff...

I'm intrigued in getting more clearance out of my hyper 7 now, cos its actually really terrible off road! How have the truggy wheels worked out so far? Just wondering if it's worth me selling my hyper as a roller and looking out for a truggy roller but I don't know what's comparable to a hyper 7 in terms of parts availability and low price?

18t has been perfect for my 2650 turnigy trackstar on a stock spur, with a 150A EZrun ESC and 2s lipo. I run 3 fans, but really they aren't needed at all! It's just me being cautious after my last motor died. I'm fairly new so I'm probably thrashing the old thing quite a lot, with plenty of stop starts. My shell is also a nitro one and so the precut holes create plenty of air flow Temp gun says without fans: Esc temp 32c Motor temp 36c Battery temp 41c And with fans the motor changes to 28c!

Nice mate! I need to do my diff oils still, any particular makes that are good? That BQY you have, what's it like? Seen them on eBay for very low prices and have some in my trans but I'm not sure what they would be like in a car?

Yes, although lipos are 7.4 just for reference Get yourself a lipo alarm, preferaly with a voltage readout so you can see how much juice your lipos have and it also stops you running them too low

Yeah this is a temporary measure til the bec arrives or I can just shove a resistor on to knock the voltage down a bit

I have already bought 2 off you before chap, last one didnt turn up so you refunded me! The first one ended up as part of my electronic gears prototype for bikes Wired up my fans to another deans plug coming off the battery leads with a seperate switch, won't stress my ESC BEC now which is good! not sure if the fans are even necessary, motor stays nice and cool without but it does help keep the car balanced weright wise so they can stay for now (and im sure some decent summer days will make them worthwhile!) Cars spending most of its time upside down atm, it really dislikes bumps of any form...anything i should be looking at setup wise? Theres a billion different holes for the suspension but im not sure which places are a good start... i also need to sort my tyres out with some tape inside, the balloon like crazy, even with 2s :S

I sprayed the outside cos it's an old tired shell that had already been painted badly outside by the previous owner I will order an uncut shell and spray it properly when I get the money this paint job has done well with the amount of time the things spent upside down sliding along the road haha Bec wise, yeah I need to order another after mine went missing in the post! Fairly easy to make my own tbh, just need a switching volt regulator, just serif I can be bothered Got my new motor in today and the things a ripper, so much fun! Shame im still waiting for a new power switch for my fly sky, as it keeps cutting out when I'm playing hopefully I can sort that tomorrow
