Does anyone in the Surrey area still go bashing? I’ve not been in years and don’t know if anyone is still around the area and fancies organising a bash somewhere? I’m in Egham, Surrey and have a Baja and an e firestorm. Anyone else?

Would you sell and post the wheels and tyres separately? If so how much for all or just the hostile bits?

This is my first 5th scale, always wanted one. It’s a beast though weighs a ton! All safety devices setup and tested!

Right so about 6 weeks ago I bought a used Baja 5b from nitroholic (thanks mate!) and set about cleaning, restoring, replacing worn parts and here’s the finished article 🙂 New wing, body, bead locks, pull start, cv gaitors, exhaust coupling and various screws. Haven’t fired it up yet but lubed the engine with afterun oil after I picked it up few more adjustments to do and electrics all in and tested.

My Baja that I’ve been refurbishing didn’t come with roll bars should I fit them or not bother? ive not driven it yet so have no idea how it drives anyway will be run on grass general bashing only

I’d happily buy something that needs fixing up as I too get more enjoyment stripping thing down and rebuilding them, problem is the rough one people still want too much money for when you factor in just a few parts your almost up to hmthat 650 one that looks mint but then you could have problems with that too. I think in general a lot of people seem to want far too much money for rc cars, some are cheaper to buy brand new!

Brand new Hpi Firestorm/Blitz 77t 48dp Spur Gear. Part number 8700103371. This is only compatible if you have the ball diff fitted. Very hard to get these now as everywhere’s out of stock. £15 posted Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class.
