Well fitted the HD torque converter on Friday and changed the oil and filter in the auto box this morning, What a difference.

no more reving its nuts off just smooth power all the way through.

Will make a massive improvment when pulling the shed about.

Next job on the list is to sort the twisted exhaust manifold out

Another one of landrovers little issues when you have them mapped for more power. Need to get it skimmed and cut the webs out.

done another one of the small jobs today.

Now for some reason Land Rover decided that as my D2 as TC then the center diff lock isnt needed. So as per normal all they

did was not fit the linkage setup but fitted the diff lock transfer box  :whistling:

So managed to fin a good used Ashcroft linkage setup for a very good price.

So this is with the center console removed..

That looks awesome. I just bought a 2002 (51 plate) TD5 Discovery 2 Adventurer which I'm chuffed to bits with. Very low mileage and 2 owners, 75k on the clock. Currently it's stock but after reading your thread, a few bits will be added sooner rather than later. I have already got the sports bar for the 2 spots on the way but that's it at the moment. I'm looking at what tyres to get, General Grabbers keep coming up on the LZ forum.

Have you heard of Dynachip? I have been recommended getting this map put on mine.
