  1. Also did a buy... Few upgrades on it since, vitavon shock towers and wheels and the servo mount. So much fun!
  2. Spent the last week perving over these as I was about to get the rc4wd tf2 xtracab. So glad I haven't now, seriously looking forward to getting my one!
  3. Bought this kit last May to tinker with during lockdown. Never actually got round to using it, mostly because it looks sooooo pretty Upgrades as following, a few of these are quite rare from my understanding and took me a while to find Futaba micro servo 1/18 brushless motor and ESC HR GP front forks HR alloy disks HR wheels Aluminium swing arm Adjustable oil rear shock HR alloy triple yoke Alloy gearbox case Metal gears (bar pinion) ZH racing super soft tyres ZH medium rear tyre foam All brand new Suzuki shell for display, NSR500 shell still brand new and decals yet to be fitted in the box. All the original parts also in the box still. Rider has gone for a walk, as have the original crappy tyres. If i find the rider/tyres i'll chuck them in FOC in the box or post out if I stumble across them however assume sale does not include these. Plenty of people selling spares on eBay for the rider although this won't affect use. You may need to adjust a few bits before use, as I said this has yet to be run so i've not a clue how it performs. I'd recommend a steel pinion case and the oval gearbox washers for any kind of hard abuse given what the threads I read said. All in with upgrades and the model itself cost around £400. Priced fairly I think at £280 (+ postage and PP fees if required) Based in North London, been a few years since I was on here but feedback thread here and hopefully a few of the old boys can vouch for me (or at least trust a Turk as much as you can...)
  4. Why oh why of all days of coming back to the forum does this have to pop up. Terrible timing, i'm off to the shed to see if I can free up some RC funds now 😆
  5. I'm loving these. Was a toss up between one of these and a UDR. Might have to bite the bullet and pick one up!
  6. Manneh! Been a few years mate, started up a CNC fabrication company and made a few rc bits for people and it's given me the itch again
  7. Been looking at picking one of these up for a while now, now that it looks like upgrades are being released it looks like I may have to bite the bullet although I keep chopping between this and a trx4
  8. Still have this, probably better to contact me on my phone 07fiveninefour 843649
  9. Bought this to convert my LST into a scaler, hybrid 1/6 1/8th truck but I don't have the time to mess about with it anymore. Genuine FG Pajero shell, looks new, painted nicely in 2 tone metallic cherry red and silver accents. No cracks or splits anywhere. Undertray bolts to a standard FG Pajero/Marder chassis, I clearanced this a bit for the front shocks on the LST and gear cover. Door handle and mirrors are missing from the shell. £80 collected, can post at buyers expense and risk. Will grab some more pictures tonight
  10. So Mike peer pressured me into buying that ESC, done a bit more trimming to the shell under tray but need to find some ways of fixing it to the LST chassis. Also ordered some m3 screws to replace the hateful hateful imperial jobbies
  11. Update with no pictures of the actual truck. Made the plates and bolted it all together. Still need to sort out driveshaft coupling. XERUN 2000kv motor sourced from evssv, just need to pick up an ESC now really. Proper shiny shiny brushless conversion kit on the way from the states. Last BL LST I had used the Losi mount and I wasn't a fan of it at all. This looks much better.
  12. Been a while hasn't it dude! Got some 7075 sheet on its way so hopefully I can make the extended rear plates sometime next week.
  13. Decided to be an absolute idiot. My LST2s has been sitting gathering dust and decided to do something stupid to one. The low range selector on the gearbox had me thinking...just how good a semi scale/Rock crawler would it make? The base. So the bodyshell had me thinking and scratching my head, until I came across this. It's an FG Pajero shell. As you can see, the wheelbase is a bit off ??, width wise, it's almost spot on. As the suspension articulates the tyres tuck into the arch nicely. Some slightly lower offset wheels would fit it perfect. Uncoupled the rear end. Extended 4 1/2 inches. Hopefully the weight being shifted forward will help stop it flipping backwards. Need to make the new upper and lower plates for it now, look at making a new centre CVD, and start buying the leccy bits. Hold tight for some updates and more in depth pictures of bodging to the highest calibre.
  14. Keep meaning to head up there one of these days now that the Baja is somewhat reliable
  15. Regardless of what personal vendetta you may have against him. Name calling and insulting on the forum is childish and idiotic. As a long standing member of the forum you of all people should know better especially on a site that generates a lot of traffic from new hobbyists and people from other forums. I've fallen out with people on the forum before but I didn't go around pestering them on threads with personal attacks and digs completely unrelated to the subject of the thread. And that's with an unbiased opinion that is completely independent of what group of people I may or may not be affiliated with.
  16. No idea, I found it at the market years ago! i bought some fresh batteries for this last week and have been messing about with it. Took it up to a quarry in Hatfield and gave it a damn good thrashing. Possibly cooked the motor as it's pretty overgeared for it. 19/46 with a 2150, so I'll be grabbing a 1900kv when funds allow.
  17. I still speak with a couple of people off the forum, your number still end in 625 dude?
  18. Do you just go about the forum following people and mocking small children?
  19. Been a bit of talk of the forum of trying to get this bit up and running again, especially now we have a few more people in the area and it seems to be a bit more active than it has been for a while. I reckon it's a good idea to post up current bash spots/locations, info and features so we can all get a good idea of where is best to get meets happening that all or most people can access and use. Google maps thingymajigger with pins dropped at bash sites would be useful once we have a good list and we can start a seperate pinned thread for it.
  20. I've just finished the 1/5 servo conversion on the Baja but need to re do all the beadlocks and fit some new hexes. Other than that it's ready for some abuse. i finish formula student June 17th, so I'm about anytime after that although I'm down most weekends until then anyway
  21. I've spent the last few years at uni along with Josh but been out of touch with the NLB lot for a few years. Got my Baja operational again with some upgrades but all my lipo batteries are past it. I'm up for a meet up soon
