Integy have a cool feature for the HPI Baja 5 vehicle available in the form of the snowmobile & sandmobile conversion kit. Designed for the use with the Baja 5B, 5B 2.0 and 5T the tracks are constructed from CNC-machined aluminium and come in a variety of colour. Included in the set that sports a price tag of 469,99 US$ are what look like dampers that are used over the link-type track tensioner.

I dont think it looks very well secured. Perhaps thats just me though

not realy, these integy ones only go on the rear, the front is left for (in this case) skis or sand paddle tyres

Integy cheese fest in da house :xd:

Was just going to say something along those lines...!

I can't see these being particularly well engineered or made from decent quality materials.. Another Integy offering for the shelf queen enthusiast me thinks, though I'd love to be proved wrong... Go on, somebody buy a set!!

Integy don't 'make' anything from what I gather. they buy in stuff from othe rmanufacturers, slap on their label and market it. It all depeds on what they specify and how tightly they control the quality of what htey re-brand.

Trouble is...a lot of what they are branding has been poor quality hidden under a shiny topcoat. Great for show....rubbish for go.

Personally..I love the idea of a half-track 1/5 petrol RC .... but I would want to build something a lot more robust than this....and probably spend a lot less than this doing it! One of many crazy schemes I have milling around in my head.....
