Long Term Savage 2350 Project

I know what your all thinking, here we go, Another Guns Project he is going to get bored and sell at a huge loss...

But anyway. I've got a fair amount of R/C's now, too many infact, and the plan was to buy a couple more (had my eye on my old E-Revo, Plus a few others but thats not too be) After reading some of the fantastic projects on here, such as 78.8's LST and Indies Slash 4x4 in particular, I've decided to sink some cash into a long term project.

Work is slow right now, Vat increase, people having the post Xmas Credit Card bill, and the fact its so cold peoples gas/electric heating is on 24/7 means people aren't spending so much, so sales are down, so labour has to be cut, which means no premium rate over time (which is how I usually afford most my R/C stuff, I use my wage to live on, then bang the overtime and buy R/C's) but thats stopped, at least for a few months. I've also left my bank card in a chip and pin machine, So I cant order anything for a while anyway. This is going to be long term, Hopefully, that will stop me getting bored with it.

Now there are some epic Savage builds on this forum alone, Things like Andy's and Josh' spring to mind, and IBO's is going to be fantasticly different. This isn't going to be as major as their projects, rather tame in comparison, But HPI parts and upgrades aren't cheap as I'm sure these guys will tell you.

The Plan is simple, A little bigger, A little stronger, A little Faster.

I've got a box stock 2350. A great choice to start IMO, cause its cost me around

HPI Suspension Covnersion (if I can get it, It's rare!)

Anything else you guys can think of?

Thanks

I heard that the RSC kit is now discontinued and now there is only old stock available, not sure how true that is tho Guns. If it is true then it will only get rarer as stocks dwindle.

I bought mine from the states because at the time I couldn't find one here in Europe..

...but I've just found this one on eBay,they have 10 in stock, but it's around the full retail price http://cgi.ebay.co.u...=item27b7c0e716

These are from across the pond, and if you get lucky with customs, are a good price..

It's a lovely piece of kit but you do have to mod the F/R bulks to fit the braces, and the steering stops on the front need filling down to allow full lock on the steering.

If you do get the RSC kit,I have photos of the mods so you can see how I did mine good.gif

Cheer's Andy, Its all long term and wont be for a while, And that would probably be the last thing I bought )remember if I Wanted epic handling, I'd have a Revo project ;))

Don't be fooled into thinking that that kit will give you epic handling,it's just a pretty way of blowing

Not to be mean but what makes this a project? It just looks like the average persons hopped up Savage. It's been done sooooo many times before.

Come on guns! Mix it up!!! ;) I know you can do better than this.
