I guess your not short of a bob or two, i would try to message him saying you will give it a week and if no contact then items being listed for sale but put his cash to one side and if he does contact you in some weeks time just say deposit is here for you

Did he give a time frame about collecting them and paying balance?

Put the cash in an envelope, stick it to one side, then re-advertise the stuff for sale.

That will either flush him out of the woodwork, or, allow you to sell your gear. If he makes contact, you can refund his deposit. As long as you don;t bank the cash or spend it, you are acting in good faith. The guy hasn't paid for the stuff, and hasn't responded. Leave messages on FB and wait a week and you are good to go really.

I’ve only  got the the x Maxx and outcast left now I’ll be keeping the x Maxx as the grandkids use it sometimes. I did have it on eBay a while back but didn’t really get much interest and I thought £750 was a fair price considering it’s got £400 in electrics in it. Maybe it’s just a paper weight 🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️😂

£249 with a lipo.  Im not a fan of FTX, but thats almost brushed money! The MT10 seems to have crept up in price, so this looks decent value?

I guess that will very much depend on what flavour FTX comes to the party - fragile like the vantage etc or bulletproof like the Tracer?

If it were me, I'd just put it all on here, as well as FB & gumtree, you're only increasing your potential buyer pool, not as if it costs anything.

There's a FB group called "uk rc bootsale" that's very active, probably have a good chance there.

Fair play to him to be fair. Id imagine he is on the upper end of your claim to be honest. As @Fly In My Soupsays, doubt theres anything illegal going on either, just how youtube works. I appreciate his style can grate on people but I take my hat off to him

I'm actually finding I enjoy his content more now than a year or so ago, mainly because its so diverse, and most of the videos he puts out are about stuff i find interesting.  I don't watch all his content by any stretch, but what I do I generally enjoy a great deal, mainly because he makes me laugh, which is a major part of being entertained in my book, and he's clearly a petrol head at heart, which also helps.  I also respect where he's come from, his optimism, his energy and his general work ethic. So, good on him.

Doubt it’s anything fishy to be honest as it all too easy for the tax man to see. Earning that sort of money and avoiding tax and vat is asking for a free vacation 😂😂

I think one of the things that stands out for me about Corally is that they actually bother to try and fix/revise parts and it feels like they are putting in a lot of effort to get things right.

And Corally's customer service is excellent 

Just out of interest, I priced up all of the upgrade parts to make a 2021 into a 2022.  Ignoring the resale of 2021 parts, it would cost £143 so even the current £405 is not too bad.

Ive touched on this before, but Im not sure if the ‘like/react’ option on the forum is harming this forum. It just seems to stop topics dead when people just end up ‘reacting’ to a post. Its kinda like, ‘oh ok, end of that’.

You could argue these reactions cut down on spam/posts for the sake of it, and Im sure if a post gets 5x reactions, that doesnt mean 5 more replies, but they just feel like a discussion killer to me, and discussion is what keeps the forum going?

Yes, certainly priced as a 1/8...  but even if it's supposed to be 1/10, it still has a wheelbase the same as this MT8.  Perhaps the MT8 is just a small 1/8 ???  But then the MT410 is the same width as the MT8 and same wheelbase too... all a bit crazy really.  For me, all the above trucks are 1/8, irrespective of what they're 'supposed' to be / what scale the brand wants us to think they are.  16mm+ shocks are not found on a 'true' 1/10  such as a Granite or a Hoss IMO.

MT410 is 10th Scale too, at least by name. Wonder how the MT8 squares up with say a Kraton? Thats a true 1/8th IMO.

Everythings got bigger, just like 1:1 cars.
