  2. I still love this, bar the useless low gear it doesn’t need. The bodyshell mounts seem to work, though the front arches could possibly do with opening up, still I like the occasional rubbing noise! Stock tyres and the Injora beadlocks are doing great. The perfect looking Vanquish bumper costs very little though it occasionally stops you pushing upwards on an obstacle if your a dead square head on. I might yet cut 10mm off the chassis rails at the rear to pull the matching rear bumper in. I could flip the mount (which is a front bumper mount), but I’m thinking too much height could cause it to flip backwards? Not felt the need to chuck any extra brass on - but then there is very little weight on the body shell compared to most TRX4. It looks scale enough to me 👍 What might I change? Next time I’d keep the single speed (whose ratio is between the 2 speeds) and keep/add the 45 spur and 9 tooth pinion and go higher than the 550/21T it currently has. Happy on 2S too, I would probally destroy it on 3S, I have tried and I don’t stick the 3S pack in anymore 😇🤣

  4. Charge state won't affect the internal resistance so measure whenever. I forgot to link this page earlier. https://www.rchelicopterfun.com/lipo-internal-resistance.html

  6. @ReggieC So I've finally figured out what that gear cover's for. On the B6.1 you can have a lay down, lay back and stand up gear box layout. If you use the stand up gear layout that the body won't cover the spur so they provide a cover for it.

  7. Dryer weather = dust! Still going good so far, even after loads of crashes, cartwheeling, etc! Very impressed with this.

  10. The Geo and the Texan have pretty good suspension, before spending big money that you might not need to spend, get a tiny tub of "green slime" shock grease and some 1000csl shock oil and do a rebuild, lots of vids on youtube on how to do

  14. I did something similar years ago with a HPI Savage. Yes it cost a lot more but l ended up with exactly the spec l wanted, knowing it was assembled properly. Took a while too sourcing all the parts but it was a lot of fun - and isn't that what hobbies are about?

  15. What should have been a 5 second trip to the garden, has ended up in a trip to the pharmacy after major redness / itchiness and swelling. This turned into an emergency doctors appointment and now resulted in antibiotics, elevated arm, plenty of water and antihistamine…. Whatever bit me done a very good job!
