Things like this should be taken with a pinch of salt. I don't mind cats and to be honest think stuffing the cat is better than burrying it tbh. It is quite creative.2 points

Hi Folks, I love my X1 with a passion...but i never like the look of truggy shells... so....a kindly donated Savage Shell gave me an idea... see below Nylon Rod post mounts...M4 bolts holding them to the shock towers looks odd but does the trick Finished Article, looks a bit like those mental nitros oxide hill climbers they have in iceland...1 point

For Sale is my Traxxas Slash 4X4: Bodysell: No splits or cracks, few scratches overall good condition. Chassis: Few scratches underneath, overall good condition, maybe needs a little clean but nothing is damaged all in perfect working order. Transmitter: Like new. The truck barely gets used and it shows, stock apart from a esc fan, will come in orginal undamaged box. Also included standard wall charger with traxxas stick pack. Just needs 4 AA's for trasnmitter and its ready to go.1 point

I'm brand new to this, and while figuring everything out, wondering what's happening when the engine isn't starting, I took the glow plug out, put it on the starter, and looked to see if it's glowing orange or not, is that ok? Will it break it? Also, while trying to get the engine to start, I couldn't get it to start at all and worked all the way back to whether or not the glow plug is actually igniting the fuel. I did the above, glow plug on starter, glowing orange, and dripped a drop of fuel on it, it sizzled, but didn't ignite. I lit some fuel in a dish separately, and got a lovely strange white flame, so the fuel is definitely fuel, but why didn't the glow plug light it? Does it need to be under compression before it'll "go pop"? Thanks.1 point

This is my Wildcat, mounted on a Tamiya TB-01. Originally built it ran Tamiya Pajero wheels and tyres, but the tyres are far to hard and lack grip. The wheels now fitted are Fastrax 90mm OD 1.9" Scale tyres, and offer far more grip than the Pajero tyres. Built this over 4 years ago now, and its had some hammer. It`s still in one piece too.1 point

ive been bad this year for buying new rc's but its all about selling your old stuff for better stuff i say!! and by the sounds of it jumping damage cant be as bad as smashing into a kurb... least its more fun jumping it then brakeing it lol cant wait to get my savage and start doing back flips again... i was getting some good back flips from my vorza with savage wheels on but it started battering the vorza abit hard!! least the savage is a stronger car1 point

places to look for second hand would be here, Gumtree, ebay, and maybe preloved. i have not tried many online shops myself but the only one i have heard of to stay clear of is wheelspin. just make sure you buy through paypal and do not pay with paypal gift. i do not know of any 1;10 scale trucks that go in reverse.1 point

get on freeprawn, Nigel has a handy link to the downloadable manual. other than the alloy gearboxes I think you're pretty much covered. It the current 'boxes are 4 screw I don't think you'll need the alloy counterpart for a while. They're fairly solid and reliable. You've made a good investment imo. Go get it dirty, then worry about the cleaning lol1 point
