ROFL love that!!!

As I say, sadly not my quote, but damn funny. Got your brushless yet? I see you've changed your profile to say it's brushless, that might be breaking the rules you know!?

I reckon the RC companies are playing the weather lately - I've had a tiny diddy little package on order for about a week and a half now (well, before the snow) and it's still not shown up. The main roads are fine and all you need is a little postie to come walk down your road and hey presto, your package is there. Might just be in customs, Guns, 'held up' by this weather (a slight cheeky laugh there as i know you've sold your EVX2, so no playing in the snow for you! :P )

I will! lol - Took it out earlier...it ran away!? :S Was on spektrum so should've kicked in. Faulty ESC i'm thinking.

Anyway, tbh Simon, i think the 80A will be just fine in your 3906 - It's a bit smaller than the 3905 hence a bit lighter, and on LiPO power, i don't think it'll struggle much (if at all). Still, it's prone to getting hot and underperforming, so i'll quote Guns for you: "Buy expensive, buy once".

You should be able to use the stock mounting plate providing you dremmel it a bit to allow enough spacing between the holes to mount the motor. It's the same kind of spacing found on a 775 motor, and people have successfully fitted a Titan 775 to their E-Maxx's.

gmx07-mt.jpg

Which isnt cheap but can be found here

http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail.php?prod=gmx07-mt&cat=17

On the cheap you could find out if this fits the 3906

http://www.fastlanem...FLM10010&cat=15

That took me 1 minute in google....

You will fit the motor straight in, no probs, but cover the 2nd hole, a bit of insulation tape will do just fine. Don't over tighten the slipper though, those motors have weak rotors, tend to snap quite easily. Not replaceable either.
