Garry
The Manic is a sensational 4wd ready to run 1/8th scale monster truck with a massive .36 cu in (6cc) twin cylinder engine. With a rugged suspension, and strong 4WD transmission it is designed to handle the roughest ground and most challenging obstacles. Its impressive speed and handling make the Manic an outstanding choice for any conditions. The fantastic Schumacher reputation for quality and support will make the Manic a favourite for all monster truck owners. The Manic twin engine system gives you twice the power, but unlike other twin engined vehicles, not twice the problems. The engines are coupled and synchronised so that a single roto electric starter system will start both engines. The single clutch and carburettor means that there is still only one set of adjustments to get right. Enjoy the awesome power and scintillating exhaust sound of 2 engines! * Powerful Twin cylinder .36 (6cc) engine * Sealed front and rear transmission with steel gears and durable limited slip ball differentials * 4 wheel drive with easy access main belt. * Massive 70mm suspension travel to overcome the biggest obstacles * Purple alloy oil filled shocks soak up the roughest bumps * User friendly Roto start system for easy starting * Easily adjustable single slide carburettor * Quality digital pistol grip radio. * Ultra strong clutch * Large capacity 125cc fuel tank for longer run times * Industry standard 17mm hex wheel fitting gives you numerous wheel and tyre choices. * Twin Powerful disk brakes with twin steel pads, and adjustable brake bias * 4mm Purple 6082-T6 alloy chassis * Pre-Cut and painted bodyshell available in 2 colours * Pre-glued tyres with multi spoke chrome wheels * Large 4mm fastenings * 30 Tough Sealed Ball bearings * Telescopic universal joint drive shafts * Robust 24DP spur gear * 2 stage air filter * Alloy motor mount * Speed Secrets option parts available * Starter box compatible Due August 2009 K086 - Manic 36 Twin Truck-Yellow RTR
Indie
Holy crap on earth, that's just about the ugliest engine I've ever seen lol! Should be a monster though

Captain_Caveman
I see what they are doing with the 1 clutch and 1 rotostart but the 1 carb is made of FAIL. Even if you buy 2 identical engines, they will both require slightly different carb settings. So if you set the carb up, you will get 1 engine running slightly weaker than the other and as everyone knows, a chain is only as strong as its weaklest link

wolw
You would need two glowstarters to start it then ? I have my hands full with one cylinder Peter

adolf hamster
what i don't get is why they haven't done an in-line design. i'd have thought that would have been better
helsinki98
That does look awsome, wish I could actually use nitro tho! Now a brushless schumie havoc is what I really want :-)
martin
Looks cool but the question why 2 engines at only 6cc and not a tuned pipe thats going to hamper performance no end, to be honest a good solid engine with torque like my lrp.30 would be ample, the old havoc would give a run for its money, don't get me wrong that is one sweet design but belts is a put off for bashing things are going to happen like stones grass etc shredding belts etc, its basically looks near enough like a havoc so it should be strong but the belts, 2 engines and a non tuned pipe is a let down for me, other than that its spot on, oh i forgot its a rip off on price just get a havoc and mod it. marty
Garry
.36, 6cc. A little maths (divide by two ), leavws you with a pair of .18, 3cc's, like in the Rascal and Riot trucks.
