  1. You would need two glowstarters to start it then ? I have my hands full with one cylinder Peter
  2. If you were in Sweden you could have my Allstart and I'll get the SMD evo box. The Allstart is more or less useless with a 1/8 Truggy, much too small to alight with pegs so you'll have to align manually every time. Maybe if you're intent to stay with a buggy (haven't tried a 1/8 buggy on it) but not worth the hassle with a Truggy. you can see how small it is (never mind the rest of the video). Just my 2
  3. As the title says, which will fit ? A clear one regardless of brand will do fine or a neutral painted one. The only one I can find is the original white one with stickers. Peter

    Cleaning

If it's oil residue/dirt I use WD40/5-56 before the compressed air.

    Cleaning

I use compressed air. If I'm not out in the work shop where I got an compressor I got a can of compressed air. Peter
  6. It sounds like your LiPos has been discharged to a low voltage, that's the behaviour they get. They can look good on the charger and everything but they wont hold voltage under load, that's the problem. They usually behave as they've done a couple of hundred cycles or so. If you're lucky it's only one cell that's gone bad and you can get one working pack out of two. A high C charge might "wake" they up temporarily but if fact shorten their life even more. Sorry, Peter
  7. I'm a n00b too The US Sports 2 has a SG shaft, are the two piece clutch shoes the same on the old as the new one ? A new three shoe clutch set is fairly cheap. greetwell on E-bay is great. Peter
  8. Carl, Was there a big difference with MX3 being 2.4GHz from a 27MHz system (crystal inconvenience set aside) ? Thing is that I got a Sanwa/Perfex KT14 with my ST-S (which I'll let my wife and son run) and now I'm putting together another one that needs a radio. I think the radio is great, comfortable and easy to program. A new KT14 goes cheap on E-bay, I think I'd prefer a good/proven 27MHz before a low end 2.4GHz. Peter
  9. 2.4GHz is definately the future in cars, in airplanes I'm staying on 35MHz.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDn2Qp-vkKA http://www.myvideo.de/watch/2348181 Peter
  10. LiPo's shouln't be cycled at all, all you do is take another cycle off it's lifespan. Charging between races won't hurt your LiPo, getting it under 3V/cell will (I have a soft cut off at 3.1V/cell under load). What you should do when you get home is to balance charge it if you are going to use it in a near future otherwise balance it to 3.85V/cell (storage voltage). Just some friendly advice, Peter
  11. SOLD 4 (Four) Kyosho Inferno MP7.5 rear shocks Fits the MP7.5 US sports amongst others. Brand new, I accidentally bought the wrong shocks for my truggy (too heavy), n00b mistake
  12. After the first tank yesterday the pull start broke, I mainly use a starter box but it's handy with a pull start. It was quite dirty when I got it so I've cleaned it, put on a fuel filter and new fuel lines. It wouldn't stand still on idle so I checked the clutch. The clutch spring was broken and one bearing missing and the other shot Furtunately, carbon clutch shoes was supplied amongst the spares and the bearing's the same size as some of my brushless motors. Peter
