Get yourself a new hyper 30 engine. I've just got one of the new hyper vs 30. This .30 engine with a hong nor big bore exhaust pipe goes like hell!!

By adjust the carb I presume you mean the idle screw? and the LSN are you richening it ? Cheers

Hi all, ive recently take delivery of a hyper vs .30 buggy. It's a very good looking piece of kit, however looks is all it has going for it to this point. The issue I'm having is keeping the thing running to break it in! The engine will run boggy as expected with rich settings however after about 30 seconds it will rev up on its own accord quiet aggressively. It will cycle doing this maybe 3 times before cutting out. Along with the rev increase, the temperature also rises dramatically with the revvs to a level I'm not happy with. I have never seen anything like this before the engine runs rich but at the same time has symptoms of been lean. Have contacted modelsport via email but just curious on other people's opinions . Just to add the car doesn't rev up and then cut out it will rev high then drop revs and settle then rev high and so on before cutting out i will try upload a video at some point as it's quiet hard to describe. Hello all, i've decided that im going to sell up on the majority of my rc related items, including my nitro cars simply becasue they're not getting used. also, i wouldn't mind getting a few parts for my downhill bike . Basically for sale is.. My Hong Nor X1CR buggy, awsome car, strong, reliable starts first time and last but not least its got awsome speed behind it. My Kyosho Inferno MP7.5 this has radio gear, and the stock engine, however it needs a new cooling head due to a crash about 8 months ago though lol. Rc spares, hong nor xhaust, kyosho pipe engine, spare servo, screws glowplugs etc.. ( one of the spare os 8's in the picture has just been put into the hong nor's engine, the engine has not yet been started with this plug in however ) My Rc box which has varios tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers, and alod of rechargable batteries.. HONG NOR X1CR for this car, i have a rough estimate of how much i want for it but im going to keep that to myself fornow and wait to see if the offers are about right.. This car includes the hong nor x1cr rtr model, hong nor pi810 pipe, hitec steering servo and upgraded brakes, this is off the top of my head . The engine has seen about half a gallon if that, though i got it last year it has barely been used due to my downhill biking hobby taking its place. this is such a great runner, verry fast , reliable, easy to tune etc and i have to say the exhaust sounds awsome haha All the radio gear will be included. i would consider posting but would prefer pick ups, or drop offs(you pay the petrol) however if needs must i will post it under your own risk. Im not 100% on the postage prices yet, as its going to vary depending on what you would like to buy. KYOSHO INFERNO MP7.5 Like the hong nor, this car is in great condition, verry strong, reliable, comes with radio gear etc etc. the engines seen maby 3 or 4 gallons, and is a great runner ( if you get a new head for about a tenner ) as before, got a rough idea on how much im wanting, but looking for offers now and also postage not 100% sure but as above prefer pickups or me taking it to you ( you paying for fuel that is ) Anyway, heres the pics.. if iv'e missed anything out, just inbox me and i will reply as soon as possible..
