Well the big day is here!

Time to finaly start the Zircon!

Fill tank with 25% (done)

transmiter on (done)

connect battery - check electrics (tempary repair to receiver ok)

NOW THE BIG MOMENT!

Place brick in front truck

NO THROTTLE !!!!!!

Glow charger on

Pull start - knot slips through handle :(

Engine out repair pull start

Start procedure again

Engine fire's first pull - revs flat out and stops with a bang!!! :helpsmilie::(

Fuel p*****g out

I repeat there was NO THROTTLE USED !!

Engine out again!

Cant turn engine over by hand locked up tight.

Inspect carb to find.........................?

Well can you guess what's missing???

the internal component of the carb that controls the air / fuel mixture was missing?

some idiot at the factory had dissolved gunpowder in your fuel? XD

wooops sorry!!!

They dont like me testing my old rifle at work, they say its dangerous :P

Anyway

Blimey. Never seen somthing like that before...

Should get a replacement easily providing you havnt been tinkering with the LSN, mind you, they won't know that :D .

No LSN to tinker with!

Engine returned to supplyer for full rebuild (with all the parts fitted this time).

If rebuild not possible, replacement engine .

(dont think I'll get another SH )

Its worth the effort for the days when it all goes well and you have a great day and don't break anything, unfortunately I have yet to have one of these. :rolleyes:

I have loads of them! Took X1 CR out yesterday in glorious sunshine and had loads of cartwheels and bad landings and didnt break a thing. Stayed in tune aswell.
