TWINSET
Been doing a few more gigs - These are of an AC/DC tribute band, Livewire Still using the 40D, so its low ISO is a major limit and I still haven't been brave enough to christen the 70D in a beery environment Edited February 7, 2017 by TWINSET

ostewart
I'll have to start contributing to this thread. Just had a go at gig photography and loved it. Had a Nikon D3200 with sigma 17-50mm f2.8 at the time. Just sold the above and have a Nikon D600 with the Nikkor 50mm f1.8G lens. I also have Sigma EX DG 105mm Macro lens. The D600 with 50mm is incredibly sharp, I love my new kit. Just had to get insurance for it, for when I do some more gigs Edited December 10, 2015 by ostewart

Tamiyacowboy
still rocking with my canon 40D, but i did find a very very cheap 18-55 kit lens. i mean at like sub 20 quid your daft not to punt on it. pin sharpe image , but its been abused with winding the focus while its been in motorized mode so its all a bit hoohaa. ideal for wide open starscapes as your focusing via manual. 53HRA
Finally took the plunge and entered the world of photography! Canon 750D with standard lens. Had a quick play yesterday out the box: Very impressed with the quality, although there is so much to learn!
ostewart
Yeah there is a lot to learn, online tutorials are very helpful though I really love my Nikon D600... Any reason for going Canon over Nikon?
