Traxxas radio query

I was told by someone more knowledgable than myself that the Traxxas radio that came with my X-Maxx can store more than one model?? 

Can someone please confirm and/or explain how I would go about this and what I would need extra if anything ( I've read there is a Bluetooth module?? )

I'm sure the later versions do support multiple models, check the Traxxas website.

You can bind upto 30 receivers to your TQI, it gets a bit complicated without a screen or the bluetooth module but its do able, this link has more info
