Popular Post Lone-wolf
2 wrong guess`s on the body but not going to reveal what it is till its on and i have electrics to do first so i have a 550 15t brushed motor to go in along with an ISDT70 esc, in the spares is a 12kg MG servo new in bag so that takes care of the steering, i need to order an RX so i can use the GT3 radio, but i have a gt2 set i can use for time being

Those creator kits look cool This is a little bit of extravagance as i mainly do off road crawler stuff, but this will be a stunner once done, it wont get used much but will give me a cheesy grin every time i so much as look at it. The RS4 sport chassis is pure class, head and shoulders above RTR cars in this price sector and it can do so much, ive seen people put hot brushless in them and speed run them to around 100mph...............BTW you guys may not have long to wait for unveiling the shell
Kpowell911
Always rated HPI touring cars, I mustve had 20 odd over the years. Still miss my Sprint Rally. There’s something about the fit and finish. The Sport 3 Flux is great, but Im not sure how stable HPI are Edited November 12, 2022 by Kpowell911
bertberr
Wasn't aware of this creator chassis, looks like a great option to get a bit adventurous. How difficult would it be to set it up as a drift chassis? What would need to be done differently compared to a normal touring car configuration? I have little to no proper road car experience, my only non mud RC at present is my HPI E10 drift, which is basic to put it mildly. Still fun mind, but a bit limiting, hence I could be tempted with one of these.
Lone-wolf
Pretty sure the RS4 sport does get used for drift, as the chassis comes with out wheels you would buy a set of drift wheels/rubber
Stormbringer
it does say in the blurb on ms site that it can be used for drifting

A set of drift wheels/tyres , lock the rear diff (silicone ear plug/100k oil) and you’d be away with the mixer 😁 Edited November 12, 2022 by tomr

Popular Post Lone-wolf
Electrics are in, Absima thrust 550 15t brushed......ISDT70 esc and tower pro MG996 12kg servo, chassis is finished just body to sort and fit radio there is a huge lack of ground clearance and looks like 80% of foam bumper needs to come of for the shell

Popular Post Lone-wolf
Okay shell reveal, wont be going on for a little while as waiting for a reamer to make the holes and need to cut a fair bit of the front foam bumper, kinda toying with getting a simple cheap shell to run it for a little while before fitting this beauty. This is the Killer body Alfa
