My first questions about the Losi super baja rey 2.0 batteries.

Hi all.

Not bought yet but it's imminent, its mainly advertised as a 6s/8s and when I read into things it says 2x3s/2x4s.

My questions are, can it be run on a single 6s lipo?

Does Spektrum do a 6s lipo battery in large Mah?

Ok thanks.

Since posting I have seen some 6s Lipo's by Spektrum, with the smart feature too which is handy.  I just need to work out which ones are safe regarding the amps.

I also need to see which has more run time, 2x3s or 1x6s.

My thinking behind using the single battery at a time is if I instead use 2 batteries I could end up with one pack with a failed cell, then having to buy 2 more 3s because I did read that using a new pack with an old pack isn't advisable.

Are they still fun on a single 4s lipo I wonder...

If they are same amp hour capacity say 5000mah the 2x3s and 1x6s should last the same time

That's helpful ta 👍

You can use a single 6s but youl need to put a loop onto the other esc power plug

As for Spektrum 6s lipo sorry no idea

What would this loop look like? I bought a singular 6s before reading into it.

basically something like this

https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/etronix-female-xt90-bridging-adaptor-with-10g-wire-loop-lead--425612

1 above is an XT90 connector but get 1 with same connector as your car
