steephill
I've got a couple of sets of traxxas 2.2 canyon tyres I want to try and remove from the plastic wheels. I want the tyres to use on aluminium beadlocks, so I'm not bothered about damaging the wheels. I'm aware of the various acetone methods. Soaking in and above the acetone in a container to break down the glue. I know you can put them in the oven. Never tried this method. I imagine this won't be good for the tyres, but don't know for sure. If anyone has had any success please let me know.
Lone-wolf
Don't do the oven method, I would try soaking the rims in isopropylene and leaving it for a few days

Gampla
Grab some acetone put In a locking container but don't put the rims/tyres directly in the acetone
