1/14 scratch built Lowboy

Recommended Posts

Hi all

New project on the go going to scratch build a lowboy trailer for my R730 to pull my chally 2. Going to use a Brohuis 3 axle as reference and to make it look like one. Using some bits off thingiverse.com and designing some stuff myself will be using aluminium for the bed.

Here is the goose neck and front of deck from thingiverse.com user printed using pla carbon fibre for strength

It will have a deck on top but waiting on more filament as it's upto Version 6 so far and will be 3rd 10 hour print hopefully this one will be right.

Here is the head box that will go on the upper deck with 3d print handles on the doors

Just had the aluminium delivered tonight so will update soon

Then I started the task of designing the rear end measured everything 3 times as these where a 20 hour print each, printed them and they fit first time had to reprint one of them as when I got up in the morning parts had lifted of the print bed overnight
