Not A Lot of Stock Available

Hi guys.

 

been shopping around looking to get back into RC Cars, was thinking Brushless buggy this time round though instead of Nitros and I’ve noticed that there’s not a lot of stock on any websites available. 
 

is this the downside of lockdown or Brexit??

Other considerations are covid reduced production in China and now it's Chinese New year, so most manufacturing is shutdown

Combo of the 4 things really:

 

Lockdown made RC more popular (it seems)

COVID/Brexit has slowed down Parts supply/extra red tape regarding imports

 

Then Chinese New Year basically shuts down operations for two weeks!

Wrong time to try and get back into the hobby then 🙄 ohhh well may sit on my money and wait for the right car to come up 🤣

What did you have your eye on Snoopy? the Arrma Typhon is a decent enough BL buggy etc  and in stock on MS

Was looking at the FTX Vantage 1/10 Brushless setup to start with, used to have a couple of Losi 2.0 1/8 Nitro’s and TT EB4’s Nitro too, would rather go brushless electric this time round, speed difference between brushed and brushless being the key factor 🤣

 

if I have to wait then I’ll look at a 1/8 brushless, save up a bit more cash and splash out
