Depends on what you want it for.... I remember Losi did their cars in RTR and build it yourself, when they released the 3.0 it was in both kit form and RTR form and that was both the elec and nitro kits. I haven’t looked at RC cars for a few years though so not back to 100% speed on what’s what at the moment

Definitely look on eBay/gumtree for 2nd hand kits, can get some good deals for around the £100 mark. Also depends if you want electric or nitro and size - 1/8, 1/10, 1/18, 1/24 if you do look at nitro you may have usage issues with it in the park though.

Was looking at the FTX Vantage 1/10 Brushless setup to start with, used to have a couple of Losi 2.0 1/8 Nitro’s and TT EB4’s Nitro too, would rather go brushless electric this time round, speed difference between brushed and brushless being the key factor 🤣 if I have to wait then I’ll look at a 1/8 brushless, save up a bit more cash and splash out

Wrong time to try and get back into the hobby then 🙄 ohhh well may sit on my money and wait for the right car to come up 🤣

No I haven't sorry This is how it looks though, as you can see I haven't taken the parts out the bags yet lol (this is the Yamaha) Found this on Google though, this is how it should look when finished Over the years though I have built planes, Spitfire, Hurricane, Red Arrow Hawk and military Hawk, Tornado to name a few, I have also had a go at building a couple of ships, mainly frigates. Did have HMS Victory as a kid but my dad built that for me, the rigging was a nightmare for him to do lol

1st up is my 2001 WRC Subaru 1/24 that I started a couple of years ago and never finished I also have 2 X 1/12 motorbikes waiting to be done As well as these I have various 1/12 die cast cars varying in genre, including a 206 GTI WRC of the late Richard Burns and Solberg's 2001 Subaru WRC as well as a couple of Ferrari's and various others

Love the Skyline I need to get back into this, I have a WRC Subaru and 2 racing motorbikes to build, the Scooby is part painted from where I left off, maybe it's time to dust off my paint box, or should I get a new car to start with lol
